We express: Art, Science, Philosophy. These do not exist simply because we have a natural affinity to waste time when not reproducing.

 

Because life (using the metaphor that life is like a test on a sheet of paper) has this blank after the question "Why are we here", it demands to be filled, and I for myself have reasoned that "Nothing" is not an acceptable answer.

 

The answer that has made the most sense for me is that God created the Universe for his Glory.

If that was supposed to be a metaphor for humans asking the purpose of the existence of God, then you've contradicted your claims to free will. Hamlet could never ask about the purpose of Shakespeare's existence unless Shakespeare himself deemed it so. In fact, he couldn't do anything without Shakespeare commanding it. Therefore, Hamlet has no free will.

If anyone wants to know how to repack the streams in the .mkv into an .mp4/.m4v container (that's all we're really dealing with, honestly), I guess I could try to give you some pointers. It's not a difficult process and you can just download the files Ross posts instead of needing someone else to help. I'd offer to upload my personal repacked files to megaupload (only megaupload) if enough people ask, though.

Ah, that would make a game scarier... it'd be even scarier if other games randomly called you by your real name outside of coincidence. In most games that let you name your character, it doesn't really change anything, since no one else will ever say your name (except for Star Ocean 3 and 4, where the names will be spoken if they match the script names...)

I'm actually on the fence on whether I should get skyrim right away or wait for a GOTY edition, since I'm not dying to get my hands on it (have a feeling a few forum members died at that).
