Was at McDonalds earlier today when I spotted an incredibly hot punk chick. Like, she had piercings on her face, really dark eyeshadow, and yet somehow she was the manager. Anyway, whilst I was looking at her, I noticed she was wearing an MLP belt with all the mane six on it. Being the impulsive brony I am, I asked one of the cashiers if I could speak to the manager. Nervously, the guy conceded, "A-alright.", a quiver in his lip. The chick comes up, a confident stare as she asked, "How can I help you?"

 

Two words were all I needed.

"Nice belt." I said with a smile, and left quickly (my family was already in the car and pissed at me so...), but not before catching a knowing smirk. She knew. SHE KNEW.

 

And that was the highlight of my day.

Today I was talking with a girl and at one point the conversation led to me pulling out my keys. I showed her my keychain Derpy and before I could explain what it was she said "oh, you're one of those guys who like my little pony?" I told her yes and that she probably doesn't want to hear me talk about it, but she insisted, so I gave her the spiel.

Second time that's happened. I should really get it memorized.

You're looking at it backwards. Don't think of why she shouldn't hang out with you, think of why she is. Obviously if someone with that kind of social standing is hanging out with you, they obviously think there is something about you that's special. She's choosing to be your friend as much as you're choosing to be hers, and I've seen it plenty of times where wonderfully social people wish they had a friend who wasn't just hanging out with them because they were someone to hang out with.

It's Running Man meets Princess Diaries meets District 9, which is a very odd mix but I think pretty accurate.
