The second thread has been made. Look over everything, make sure I've got the right character sheets out, maybe do some RPing in the tavern, then tomorrow we start for real. And someone make a character sheet for whooves, please.

This thread shall contain the exploits of the great adventurers of the accursed farms.

We are using the standard setting for 3rd edition ruleset, the wiki for which can be found here. Non-standard editions will be allowed with the Dungeon Master's consent. Dice rolls can be calculated here and work on the honor system, so please don't lie about what you rolled and neither will I. The exacts on how this will work are still being figured out, but we'll cross each bridge as we come to it. This thread will be used more for the roleplaying, Steam will be used more for battles and anything else that requires quicker, more miniscule responses. We will be experimenting.

Ikthias as Ikthias, a lawful evil necromancer human with his cat familiar Keslix.

Srake as Srake, the lawful neutral undead-killing ranger human.

Psychotic Ninja as Zoey, the neutral evil crossbow-toting rogue human.

Jek Jek Roo as Jake, the true neutral healer cleric of Pelor human.

Thadeus as Thadeus, the chaotic good fighter half-elf

Dr. Felix Whooves as Felix the mad, the chaotic good pervert wizard elf.

Mr. Shiny Object as the DM, the all-powerful, omnipotent, incorporeal runner of this game.

I already now what's wrong with it:

 

1: The Sixteenth note slur is never properly done. Very difficult maneuver as it requires quickly crossing octaves.

 

2: A couple squeaks transitioning from C to D as it crosses octaves, because it's a student model from a shit company.

 

3. Ending unsuccessful, as I had to, again, cross on a rapid partial arpeggio.

 

4. Too nervous. Need to relax so I play it like I do when I practice.

 

But yea, If you've got anything else, throw it at me, but don't be too blunt about it. I don't need someone else pointing out that I'm mediocre.

1. I don't blame you for that.

2. Not entirely sure what that means, but it probably did effect the quality, even if I didn't notice it.

3. Once again, acceptable flaw.

5. Don't talk at the end, otherwise it will disrupt people's music playlists. Also like/favorite/subscribe is pretty much universally looked down upon, and you could just say that in the desc. or with annotations during the song. That said, you sounded very sincere and not nervous at all. You actually sounded pretty confident.

7. The camera is poor quality, but it really doesn't matter for music. The sudio was pretty good, at least for people like me.

Zoey/Psychotic Ninja/rogue is a girl. But if you start hitting on her two much she'll disappear into the shadows. Though I don't know who would be watching the other sleep.

I'm more surprised that everyone is human except for one half-elf, which is not one of our wizards, but a fighter, which is usually a human class. Everything's all weird.

The two are actually pretty uncomparable. The first was massive and major, the second was closer and personal. And I needed to recover for three times as long for Bronycon.

I just came from a brny meetup, and I'm pretty sure a girl there was hitting on me. She was on the border of my personal space, and she occasiuonally reached out and touched my arm, and she seemed interested in the conversation we were having about both attending bronycon.

The reason I say "pretty sure" is because her boyfriend was the one running the meetup.

I know Srake and Whooves are from the U.S., same timezone as me in fact, Thadeus is Norwegian, I think JJR is Polish, and have no clue about Psychotic Ninja. I have no idea how we all pretty much happen to be online at the same time.

And I thank you greatly for that. There is a reason so many people use programs for making them, it's just a giant mess of numbers. Once that's out of the way, though, the real fun starts.

Oh and Ikthias, I may kill off your donkey at some point. Probably at the exact moment you learn the spell "create zombie donkey."

And just out of curiosity, are you going to be favorable toward Jek and Srake since they didnt make a mistake, since that's what 'having brownie points' or whatever has always ment with anyone I've talked to?

Brownie points is just a figure of speech, a joke, just because I didn't want them thinking they had to change their own stats to make up for letting every one else keep theirs that were a little higher. It's really just like a +rep, essentially meaningless but nice to get at least.

And you haven't "fucked up" your character sheet, you're just having trouble with the numbers, which is a pretty small part of the game but necessary and needlessly confusing.

I will not make your character for you, building a character will give you a more personal connection to it. I do not have some specific build I want you all to have, I just want you all to be balanced. The suggestions I gave were merely that, suggestions, because you asked me to say how to fix them instead of just that you need to fix them, and I even gave you different choices.

I'm sorry that we got off on the wrong foot, but I'm just trying to get everyone off on a good start.
