  1. I got a new XBox!

Well, not new, but it doesn't have a red ring, so I'm happy.

    Ooh, you have Xbox live?

Yes, but I rarely use it. It's the same as my youtube, gmail, Minecraft and any other account that doesn't allow periods and spaces.

  2. WHY IS THIS THREAD GETTING PUSHED DOWN THE PAGE?

Anyway, the following image was posted on Mozilla Firefox's official Facebook page:

    Wunderbar. Mozilla has joined us.

Now we wait for Chrome, and maybe they'll have a Google Doodle when Season 3 comes out. Horribly unlikely, but a boy can dream.

  3. Hey, ShinyObject, happy birthday dude!

I am now in love with that picture of Hobbes, despite having no idea which comic it's from (which is odd, since I've got them all practically memorized). It may or may not be my next avatar. Maybe I'll photoshop in a suit...

  4. so here was my friend's response, and my response to his response:

Him: Its a show that glorifies outdated concepts that apply in no way to my current situation. And only entertaining in the fact i would question what i did wrong in my life to end up 20-something and watching a show designed for young children.

Me I would argue against those concepts being outdated. That episode valued the power of self-confidence and others having confidence in you, as well as not being a dick by reminding your friends you're better than them. Also I'm certain you caught the reference to classical mythology. It also has well-developed, endearing, diverse characters and good quality animation and voice acting. I am disappointed that you consider its label unforgivable. However, I respect your decision, and if you are truly certain you do not enjoy the show based solely on its content, I will not try to convert you again. You actually watched an episode, which is more than most will attempt.

And one of his other brony friends also made some comments, but they weren't anything of note.

I like Doctor Whooves idea though. I posted the video for cupcakes as my last comment.

  5. I posted a Fluttershy squee link as a comment on a friend's status. Below is the rest of it:

    Him: .........really?

Me: YES REALLY. THAT IS A SQUEE. DEAL WITH IT.

Him: still think i'd make a good brony?

Me: I strongly believe that you have both the wisdom to appreciate the show's quality and the confidence to ignore how it may change the way others think of you.

Him: how 'bout this. I will watch ONE and only ONE episode of My Little Pony in its entirety, then make my judgement. ill let you chose which episode.

Me: Season 1, episode 16, Sonic Rainboom. It's on Netflix, but if you don't have that, here's a YouTube Link. Fast forward through the opening, it takes a while to get used to.

    Wish me luck.

    This art style is awesome.

It seems almost styled after Calvin and Hobbes.

That comic is just a recreation of a specific C&H comic. In fact, besides the word "Twilight" I think it's written the same word for word.

  7. My father was raised on a farm but left when he joined a band, now he does 3d computer animation for a living and is an amateur actor. In fact, he's had stuff on funny or die. The two of us are very wacky and will mess with each other very often. We also will randomly get into intelligent discussions and ridiculously dumb discussions, sometimes both at once. When he met my mother met him, he told him where she lived, and her response was "oh, the one with the huge T-Rex snow sculpture." Me and him make stuff out of the snow every winter.
