  1.

I liked that we finally got to see another griffon, and a male one at that. Also I like the return of Pony Joe. And yes, I too thought Pinkie did it in some sleep-deprived stupor.

And all of the imagined accusations were awesome. I especially liked the griffon's.

  2. Okay, at BraveTriforcer's insistence, I double checked, and they don't go up to my waist, but maybe my knees. I have an entire shelf dedicated to newspaper comic books: C&H, Foxtrot, and Dilbert take up the bulk of them, and those added together make a stack up to my waist. If you have every Calvin and Hobbes book, you have wasted a lot of money. Many of them are just collections of the others.

Though I'm serious about the 2 panels thing. I used to have my friend read the first two panels to me and I'd give him the last ones. When I flip through my books I don't even bother reading the last panels.

  3. Just got 3 new blindbags.

PINKIE PIE (!!!YAY!!!), another Rainbow Dash, and another Special Edition Rainbow Dash.

In other words, 5/8 of the merchandise I bought has been Rainbow Dash themed, only one of which on purpose.

  4. DID SOMEONE SAY CALVIN AND HOBBES?

    AGAIN?

Seriously, if you stacked up all the C&H books I had, it'd be about up to my waist. If you tell me the first 2 panels of any comic, I can tell you what happens in the rest of it.

  5. Of course you share that one instead of the one where I bought you snuggle truck

and I think this picture would have been more acurate:

    EDIT:

    And good for you, Shinyobject.
Frivolous online spender + credit card already on Steam + just got paid + good friend's birthday + being a genuinely nice guy + power of (generosity * kindness * loyalty) = birthday gifts for everyone.

Even irl, I give birthday gifts to everyone. Whenever I hear it's someone's birthday, even if I barely know them, I will give them a fancy, colorful origami wreath hand-made from sticky notes.

  6. So I took a survey that had a box big enough to write out why Derpy is best pony. I feel the need to share it.

My favorite character in the show is Derpy Hooves. Despite not being an actual character, her existance outside of the show itself is a triumph. This is a character who's only notable quality is her messed up eyes. Despite her handicap, her role in the show is like that of any other pony in the show, she is not letting her handicap hinder her in any way. In fact, this little problem with her eyes has done more good for her than bad. She is a celebrity, a very symbol of the fandom. She is unique, she is different, she is not like the others, and instead of poking fun at it or laughing at it, we make her one of the most popular characters in the show. People do joke about her performance, and how she acts, but its always done in a loving and kind manner. And this is reflected in the character. All we've seen of her is her willingness to help, trying her hardest even if she was no good at it, keeping a smile on her face the entire time. And if anyone was in need of help, even from her own wrongdoing, she's right there offering help. When someone yells at her, or argues with her, she just sits there and listens, ignoring the hatred and taking the insults as ways she can improve the lives of herself and those around her.

  7. I realized that I have a higher rep than the guy who brought tme here, despite never leaving the Free-For-All sub-forum, and only very recently having watched Freeman's mind.

  8. Is enyone here into latin? X)

I took Latin for all four years in high school, all of my friends were in that class, and Latin convention was the three greatest days of every year. What is Latin convention, you ask? Well, since we can't exactly go to somewhere where they speak the langauge, instead all of the Latin-teaching schools (mine being the only public school there, and the largest at about 50 kids) in the State meet at the capital (not the capital building, the city, though its held literally across the street from the capital building) and do Latin stuff. This includes entering art into competitions (either classical-style stuff like clay pots or sewn dolls, or classicla subjects like a painting of Zeus or a styrofoam labrynth), competing to see who's miniature catapult can shoot a wet cottonball the farthest, acting out scenes in Latin, dressing up in Togas or actual costumes, and of course jeopardy-style competitions. And thats just the academic stuff, we also had spirit stuff like each day had its own theme. Once the theme was Greecers (like Greasers), once the theme was hot as Hades, once the theme was Space, once the theme was "pages through the ages."

I was even an officer for my school's Latin Club. I was responsible for making a website. I even added games to it.

TL;DR: Latin will most likely be my favorite class I have ever taken, and it has little to do with the language, even though that is awesome to.

  9. Nice non-games you've got there. I love Vegas, even if the newest version I've got is 7, and love After effects. Been meaning to give those bitmap editors a try, need to make sprites for something. Fireworks is good enough, though, and its already installed on my PC.
