Why are some of you guys Kirk so goddamn picky about how the graphics look? The point of a game is to be fun to play, not to necessarily look like Battlefield 3. I personally don't care at all if it has console graphics, it's still the same game.

Unrelated: I just watched the video of the Saturday night concert from Everfree Northwest. At one point, they did a sing along of "Smile Smile Smile"; led by MandoPony and AcousticBrony. However, while in the middle of this, they were joined on stage by Shannon Chan-Kent (the actual singing voice of Pinkie), William Anderson, MictheMicrophone, PinkiePieSwear, BronyMike, ACRacebest, and FUCKING DANIEL INGRAM HIMSELF; all leading a roomful of almost a thousand people singing their lungs out to the song.

Call me sappy, but that was about the most amazing thing I've seen in a while.

Lambda Generation apparently talked to a representative, and were told that yes, Valve asked that Half Life 3 specifically be put on the list.

Seriously, I doubt that their english is THAT bad.

I know all that. BUT, there's one detail that leaves me optimistic: A Gamescom representative also confirmed that Valve specifically asked for them to put Half Life 3 on the list, even though they shortly changed their minds and asked them to remove it.

Apparently Valve did ask for it to be taken off the list; but according to a Gamescom representative, "every single game on the list will be shown at Gamescom.

Yeah, leaving isn't a decision I made lightly. After thinking it through, however, the forum really is too much of a time sink for me to stay productive. There particularly are just several school subjects that are imperative that I put more time into and improve on if I want to graduate well; I need to stay focused as much as I can.
