What I meant was that in order to COMPLETELY delete Steam, you will need to delete not only the application itself, but all of it's extra files that are stored in the Application Support folder.

Oh wait...are you running OS X Lion? (Version 10.7)? Because in that case you'll need to un-hide the Library folder.

Alright, what I would recommend in that case is completely deleting Steam and all of its assets, and then re-downloading and installing it from steampowered.com . (Steam's extra assets will be stored in "[your home folder]/Library/Application Support/Steam").

HE'S the one that wanted the DVR, but now that we've got it, he decides that nobody can use it. He routinely deletes every fucking thing from it. It wasn't even 5% full yesterday. 6 episodes of ponies and The Big Lebowski were all that was on it, so he decides to clean it out. WHAT THE FUCK IS THE POINT OF HAVING A DVR IF YOU'RE NOT GOING TO LET US SAVE THE SHIT WE WANT TO WATCH?! I had every fucking episode on there at one point, but Mr. Douchecanoe goes ahead and erases everything. The DVR has never even gotten full enough that we needed to delete off episode.

For me, so long as they're not turning this into an oppressive dictatorship and monitor you constantly, I really have no problem. I've got nothing to hide, but I can see why everyone else is upset, what with the spying on every other country and everything. :/

^This, except that I personally would rather NOT have someone reading/hearing/seeing every bit of data that I send and receive, even if they aren't going to give it a second glance. It's like that feeling when you're writing an email, and someone comes up behind you and tries to read it. They don't care, and even if it doesn't matter if they see it, it still annoys you.

9/10, Bullseye will be very happy about it though.
