  1. There's no denying the impact us Bronies had/have on MLP, and popular culture in general. Like the show or not, doesn't matter. Let me ask you this: When this generation of MLP is over (whither it be now, seeing as season 6's over, season 7, or whatever), and Hasbro has that unavoidable itch to reboot the series again, do you think they'll go back to the "we got to sell the toys!" and/or the "it's only for little girls" mentality, or do you think our impact will last past FIM?

    There's a thread for this.

    >classes which received the most buffs to their STOCK kit

    >top 3 are classes that are mostly reliant on non-stock weapons

    you had one job

And non stock weapons are pure, straight up buffs from the stock? At best they're side grades, with both buffs and nerfs. At worse, they're just reskins.

"But the weapons are side-grades!" argument is so overdone at this point.

The degreaser is objectively stronger than the stock flamethrower because switch speed is essential to an aggressive playstyle

The flare gun is objectively stronger than the shotgun in most situations because it deals 90 damage crits at long-rage (which is pyro's weak spot, dealing damage at long-range)

The powerjack is objectively stronger than the fire axe because the added movement speed, again, aids in an aggressive playstyle

and even if you were to play defensively, the phlog/degreaser, scorch shot, and powerjack/homewrecker are IMMENSELY better than their stock counterparts.

It's the same for engineers, frontier justice/widowmaker/rescue ranger, wrangler, and jag/gunslinger/eureka effect are generally better than their stock counterparts, you'd only run pistol or short circuit over wrangler to avoid accidentally wrangling your sentry

And for spies too, ambassador/l'etranger/diamondback and c&d/dead ringer are GENERALLY better than their stock counterparts

And a common theme with many of these items? They were either recently buffed in to usefulness or nerfed because they were deemed too useful

These classes would be stronger and maybe even more viable in a competitive setting if items were buffed around them instead of the items themselves being nerfed

TL;DR don't act like you understand TF2's balance when all you play is 24/7 deathrun/prop hunt/VSH/whatever other meme gamemodes you play

and just like that, what shred of respect i had left for activision was gone

you're about a year late with that announcement

Black Ops 3 was decent though? And notice I said what SHRED i.e. not that i had much to begin with

I suppose I should blame Infinity Ward since they haven't published a good game since 2009 but if you're going to put out an remaster of an amazing title don't put it behind the paywall of your shitty broken game

Considering Activision is probably in charge of marketing, that's probably on them

"X is subjective" really needs to die. It's a pointless statement. Congratulations, you understand how opinions work. No need to point it out. Honestly, you come off as an entitled asshole when you do it.
Doesn't matter, still a pet peeve of mine. Go bother someone else with their pet peeves.

and just like that, your credibility on the matter is gone.

  4. End of the world? Only for white people.

you are disgustingly ignorant and it's a wonder how you haven't been banned yet

So the Cubs are in the World Series.

Between that, the presidential elections, and all these clown sightings, maybe the world really is ending....

Nah man, it just means Jaws 19 and hover boards are around the corner.

you're about a year late for that joke

  5. The fall of TF2 came when Valve started trying to balance the game around the competitive community, which was already dying for a reason

Valve: Let's buff the only classes already viable in competitive while nerfing everything else, sounds good

And of course the long-awaited competitive update was a complete travesty because now you have to queue up for half an hour to play for about 5 minutes

Valve: Let's just replace valve servers with matchmaking, because matchmaking totally worked when MvM came about

It's still TF2, I just wish they'd bring back Valve servers and show the more underpowered classes (pyro/engie/spy) some love

  6. Terraria

The crimson is genuinely some of the worst game design I've ever seen, they could've made ichor available in corruption worlds and never added crimson and nothing of value would've been lost

The corruption/crimson bosses literally require you to be able to tank hits, yet in expert mode only ONE of the bosses punishes you for tanking hits and it does it by applying debuffs that are normally only available in HARDMODE

Not only that, but both bosses require you to be able to deal damage to multiple targets at once, and again, only ONE of the bosses makes this literally impossible by applying curse and silence debuffs

And if that wasn't enough, the reward for killing the boss is worthless as opposed to the corruption variant which is useful until endgame

I think it's about time I make a new world with corruption instead, fuck crimson and fuck whoever had the idea to add it to the game

  7. What is my pet peeve is when game literally forces you to do a move that is pain in the backside to do properly. And not just once, oh no, several times. And quite often that specific move feels so out of touch with rest of the game, but i guess it depends on playstyle

    E.G.

    W_cMHXyygUI

Thankfully it's only required to kill darknuts, but this attack is so convoluted it's completely impractical at any other stage of the game

  8. Whaaaat. Mate. XD Living Tombstone is amazing. Actually makes song damn interesting! I can't stop rocking out to this song. The original was soooo sloooow. Felt like I was in a fucking choir. But this remix, just beautiful. Just perfect. Has an actual melody and a sick beat.

If you can call speeding up the song and adding generic bass to it "interesting"

    Whatever floats your boat

  9. In theory I think it looks awesome. I love the concept of being able to have the same experience on the go, given the battery life is decent. It all depends on what games are gonna be on it though for me. I'm not at all interested in Zelda or Mario, but a decent first person shooter might get me sold on it.

dying genre, don't count on it

if they release a new metroid i'll buy it

If I can play Fallout 4 or Skyrim on it I'm sold.

Skyrim remastered is going to be on it

The music is almost as pervy as the thumbnail.

another testament to why i don't like the living tombstone

he'll take decent music and turn it in to something bland and boring

he did it to jenny, bonetrousle, and this

i guess he at least did remind me that ken ashcorp exists, i'm gonna listen to the original now
