One thing I would like to do would be vanilla duels. If anyone was interested it'd basically be a 1v1 with vanilla loadouts only. Could be fun and is a nice even playing field (at least as even as it gets)

Some of those songs are quite literally impossible on a keyboard like mine since they require you to slide your fingers for some of the crazier hammer on/off sections and I can't slide my fingers when they hit the wall of the keys I'm trying to slide to.

Ha! How do you think pianists feel? XD One of my songs requires a LOT of finger sliding, and it hurts like all hell afterwards. I've sorta gotten used to it now though. XP There's a certain way you gotta do it, but I think keyboard keys are too different for that anyway. The preferred method is to use your nail though... Either your thumb or your middle finger - your palm sorta facing upwards if that makes sense. XD It sounds really wicked if pulled off right though.

Nice. Gonna be a while before I even get near that on keys if ever lol. Closest I could get was 91%. It's the "solo" parts that get me.

 

Guitar however, I only missed like 13. It's also miles easier lol. But hey I have too much caffeine in my system and I'm a bit low blood sugar right now so it's a miracle 13 was all I missed.

 

 

 

I did try using the one hand for the keys thing and nope, doesn't work lol. I'm so used to guitar it's sort of thinking backwards for me so the more fingers on each hand I need to use the more confused I get XD

I pretty much suck at the guitar and bass for all of it. XD I much prefer the keys. So we can make a deal. You're King of the Guitar, I'm Queen of the keys. XD But every now and then we compete. Cause why the hell not.

With the combos though, would be even greater if we started and finished our combo on the same exact parts of the song. XD

So... Had a long 4 and a half hour shift (Long compared to other shifts anyway...), just got back home now. I was working with a good co-worker of mine, haven't had a shift with her in moooonths. Unfortunately, during our shift together, we barely had time to talk to one another. It was a very strangely busy Sunday night - and we were tasked to do some jobs at either ends of the store. So didn't even really get to see her. X3 When I did see her around though... oh, she looked so sad! So sad, tired and down. Poor thing. She was working on drive-thru, taking orders, so she was pretty lonely for a few hours. I ended my shift, then I bought some chocolates with some spare change... then I walked up to her - she was still working on drive-thru at the time, and once she was done taking a customer's order, I held out the chocolates and said; "Pick one!"

XD Her face though... she was so suddenly happy! And seeing her so ecstatic, like I made her night, that's what makes me feel soooo good! She was like; "Wait. You bought this for me!? Oh my gosh. You have no idea how much I needed this. Thank you so much!"

And I smiled at her and replied; "It's all good!" Then we sad goodbye and I left work. X3 I'm glad I made her happy... She's such a nice person. It also just goes to show, it's the littlest things that can make us happy!

And hey, chocolate cures all emotional illnesses. XD

So in summary: Feeling really good! Sometimes, you don't need to do a lot to make someone's night just a little bit better...

X3 When it comes to my piano playing, I usually have one strictly as a bass/chord player, the other is a melody player. And thus my hands are used to doing different things. XP Would be kinda weird to have them both play a melody...

Also, JekkyRoo (but also any others that can answer this), I need some help. XD I got asked on DeviantArt to draw a character, but it's like... a request. And I don't do commissions for nothing. I'd imagine that'd be rather tedious and not a lot of people wouldn't be able to roll with that. I mean, we had a good party yesterday which was formed basically because JekkyRoo said there's stuff happening in the IRC. XD We had Username, JekkyRoo, AP_Pastor, MrKittyCat and myself.

Here is the MIDI with the notes fixed. Unfortunately, fading is not possible in MIDI as far as I know. It can be rendered into audio and faded there. I can do that...

Oh yessss... a thread for this. Wonderful! I've been playing away at the default songs already with the game, but more would be nice!

So far, I'm in LOVE with the electronic-sounding songs. XP "H8-U", "Inside of Me" and "Pacing Energy". LOVE THEM! SQUEE!

Also, I would love to post our highest scores on here. I know you'd probably beat me at everything Rarity, but hey, I can work towards a goal of beating you. XD

I also realized that half way through playing through all those songs, that I SHOULD get another keyboard. I've been kicking myself for using the bloody enter bar all this time when I REALLY should have been using the Shift that I NEVER USE. I've got a bunch of spare keyboards lying around, they're not great... but they'll surely be good for "holding it like a guitar"

Thanks again for exposing its existence to me. XD I've always wanted a game like this, but never had a console for it.

In regards to the streaming... I recommend you Ross to try to set up some sort of time system. Like, try recording at 8pm one month. Then the other, try at 11am. Your audience spans the entire world. XD So I feel like some people would be rather annoyed if they realize they can't make it to your streams, either because of school, work, or sleep. I certainly have always been pissed off, because I've NEVER been able to make it to a stream, mainly because the people who stream always do it at the same fucking time. Perhaps you could try to vary it a little? It'd make a lot of people happy. X3
