  1. @Zaraki: A good story writing allows the readers to vividly imagine what he/she's reading, and this one is a good example. I would read this again and again.

Mind if i share some of my writings? This is one of the poems I wrote at one of my "emotionally wrecked" moods:

    Bitterness is a memory

    Passion is my poison

    Jealousy is my company

    Love’s a bitch.

    Overthinking is my hobby

    Grudges by my bedside

    Visions of broken fantasies

    Life’s a bitch.

    Success is just an illusion

    Fame’s a temporary friend

    Everything is just confusion

It won’t matter when you’re gone.

    Misery is my pleasure

    Friendliness isn’t real

    Death shall be my treasure

    A rope ends it.

  2. Would love to go to UK someday too, I'd like to live on my own there.

OT: Feeling emotionally shattered. I just saw my grades, and it's my worst. To add salt in the wounds, apparently i'm the only one in my class who flunked so bad.

  3. I had this dream I'm in this shopping mall I used to go, but the place was empty. Somehow, I got this "The Truman Show/Counter Strike" kind of vibe, like I'm being watched. I also got this feeling i'm schizophrenic. I'm hearing voices telling me to go here or there.

  4. - I used to be a gamer, but stopped because I couldn't afford to upgrade my PC years ago.

    - I'm a junkie for vintage guitars and other instruments, much like car enthusiast for... well, cars.

    - I have this personal mission to learn as much musical instruments as I could, and understand Music theory.

    - Speaking of which, I meant to study music in college, but never pushed through for a number of reasons (i'll just leave it at that for now)

    - I'm crap in Math. How crappy am I? In an college algebra quiz, 99% of the class would get perfect score, guess who's the 1%?

    - Like Binky, I'm also boring to hang around with. Anyone's better off with somebody else than me.

    - I like being alone most of the time. I feel peaceful when left alone (or when I'm in this forum)

    - i'm fascinated with pop culture from the 50's to the 80's. I kinda wish I could live in those decades just to see what's it like.

  5. I'm also single, though I'd like to call myself a "disposable boyfriend", usually when I have to "chauffeur" my girl classmates in outings or activities.

  6. Football isn't that much of a hit from where I live, but mention anything basketball-related or switch to a basketball channel and all hell breaks loose, while i'm in the other room with a guitar or something.

  7. @Vapy: I'll agree. Vocalists are like actors in my opinion. They have to deliver the lines (or lyrics, rather) with emotional colour and conviction that makes the song engaging to listen. A poor vocalist could ruin a song, no matter how well-written it is.

@Jeb: I'd like a depressing D Minor, my favourite chord for some reasons.

  8. That dream sounds like it could inspire a cult. Now you can be a real Pastor!

As though I'm supposed to ascend to heaven, yet I ended up on the moon. In fairness though, this may be the trippiest dream I ever had so far, it was the most relaxing dream i've had in ages.

  9. I dreamt I was lying in an Egyptian sarcophagus on top of a skyscraper. Suddenly The sarcophagus rose up like a rocket and went to space. After floating in space for what seems like a long while, I finally landed on the moon and I woke up at that point.

  10. The idea giving the devil 10 souls for a nice spot in Hell ain't a bad idea. This kinda reminds me of that story of Robert Johnson allegedly selling his soul to the devil for badass guitar skills, then died at the age of 27. So perhaps I have 10 souls with me, and I made the same deal as Johnson did, i'll probably live past 27, 10 years at least.

That said, damn good episode you got there, Ross! Worthy of a "Best of the Game Dungeon" list in my opinion.

  11. Haha! What I'm thinking is, if you have the parts notated on your laptop, you could send them to people. Like, you could send the bass parts to me, GrooveWindow or AP_Pastor, we could record it, and then send it back to you. You could get a number of us to work on it, and hopefully the final product will sound awesome!

I'd love to contribute on bass, though my recording technique may be a bit primitive (an amp facing the microphone), but i'll see what I can do with it. With the three of us being bassist, I can't help but think of the bassists from the Funk Brothers.

  12. May I recommend another Wakeman masterpiece?:

    UjjYT90yFxE

My oh my! So many good music has emerged in this thread recently! I might make a playlist dedicated to all your pieces someday. If I can pick some favourites, it'll have to be Jeb's Finale andThe Pastures' One by One

  13. Speaking of Rick Wakeman, Urban Dictionary has a definition for his name, albeit a bit raunchy:

Rick Wakeman - To finger a girl furiously, as Rick Wakeman of Yes fingers his keyboards

"I totally Rick Wakemaned that girl last night"

It killed me when I read that
