  1. For some of the questions I was torn between quite opposing positions, often an intellectual response versus a more visceral emotional feeling.
I had that, yeah. I can't remember on what questions, mind. I'm temoted to retake the test again and see if my opinions on things have changed. (I have a feeling they might have)
  2. Video can help interpret the song's content, or help draw attention to the music itself. I wouldn't say they're a distraction, but at the same time it's not vital for music to be accompanied by visual media.

Although, you could debate the success of PSY's 'Gangnam Style'. Would it have become Youtube's biggest video and topped the charts had it not have its oddball music video?

  4. 10/10 Bill Bailey is wonderful, and man, the song he plays after that quote!

"I think God just got sick of that 70s excess. That's why he invented the Sex Pistols." - Hughie, from the movie 'Still Crazy' (played by Billy Connolly)

  5. I'm currently at 'work to live', as I'm trying to get an income to survive on while I make music and other things in my free time.

If I were, for example, become a full-time musician (like a composer or producer), then it'd likely become 'live to work'.

My sister, as it happens, is very much 'live to work'. She works at an Acoustics company, and while her task are pretty intensive and stressful, she loves it. So much so, she forgets to take holidays, and her boss had to tell her "You're taking two weeks off, no ifs, no buts, do it, srsly!"

    A camera that shoots at 1280x720 @ 25fps, or 640x480 @ 30fps?

  6. I won't lie, I had a feeling it wouldn't be your sorta thing, but that's cool - it goes without saying that music is subjective and the tunes you make won't appeal to everybody. Thank you for the intelligent words though! Much better than a 'Meh, not my thing' :P

Tell your brother we say cheers :D Can't say I've heard of Pedro mind, recommend a tune for me to look up? :)

  7. Alcohol? Very little. You'll be lucky to see me drink more than one pint when I do. Not that I don't like booze, I just don't drink very fast.

Now, things like water, juice, etc. Also very little, which isn't a good thing.

How does your back feel right now?

  8. I'm not sure how exactly, but the internet has mixed up the death waltz with "U.N. Owen Was Her - Flandres Theme". It's from the game "Touhou 6". It's an awesome tune though. I first heard it with
