  1. Good lord, that's a question..

I'm going to say Grand Theft Auto: Vice City on PS2. It was the first game I played on my first console, which I got for my 11th birthday. I still tend to play it now, at 23, same disc and all. I'd say it's my most played in terms of total collective hours, because I recall playing it endlessly back when I was 11, but not making much progress - just fucking around, not even saving my game afterward. Man, thinking about it, I must have been pretty obsessed with that one. Not sure I want to know how many hours I've actually sunk into it...

    Let's repeat that question :)

  3. Cheers guys! :D We did a spot of filming tonight for general use. The sound quality is a bit arse as I was rushing to set everything up in time to do something before we had pack down again, but it's not clipped to buggery like in the last video I posted here. We're gigging next Friday, so Imma see if I can film that too, also with better sound.

I'm planning on doing a more 'official' music video that plays to a track off the EP at some point - I've got a mate who'd be willing to do it, and his camera's much more decent than mine!

  4. Funny story. I had somewhat amusing and topic related dream about three nights ago. For some unfathomable reason I had a computer at work (I work in the produce department of a supermarket) right in the middle of the aisles, like it was the most normal thing I could be doing at the time. I was watching what was obviously Freeman's Mind episode that took place in the game Slender: The Arrival. He kept cracking jokes about working with children and how he was effectively committing every single dumb thing characters in horror movies do. He also complained excessively about his ropey camera quality.

  5. Sorry, I didn't mean to drag you in like that if that wasn't your intention. VNN's content didn't fit my definition of what clickbait is. So I made fun of people who I felt were attacking VNN for no reason. I figured that's what you were doing as well. That my fault for assuming that my intention was the same as yours.
    No worries :)

@Dan and Jeb - your experiences go some way to showing how much work needs to be done in order to tweak the VR headsets. On-board settings (focus wheels etc) will be handy for that.

  6. Starcraft Brood War. I forget the name of the mission, but you're trying to find Stukov in an installation.

Dammit, I need to resume my playthough of that! I'm halfway through that campaign.

"Swill is the life-blood of pigs! Control the swill, and you control the world! And that means war! What does it mean?"

    "WAR SERGEANT!"

  7. 7.?/10

Respectable! But I still don't know who he is. Sorry. XD That age gap. Or maybe my ignorance to the fine arts. :P

You'll have likely heard his hits on the radio at one point. I myself have heard very little of his work, but in the UK he's fairly ubiquitous. His song "Heroes" has been used in countless adverts and shows, if only the main musical theme.

And Major Tom, I first knew of it when referenced in Robot Wars - as a robot was named such, and when it lost, Jonathan Pierce started quoting the song :P

7/10 would it be possible to remake the animation with a more subtle seam?

  8. Im afraid that in current state VR gonna do what consoles did with FPS games: They gonna limit everything, dumb AI and simplify everything just to make it easier for casual gamers in every new game
That worries me too. It might help VR if it starts out being pretty esoteric. Dumbing it down will make it much more gimmicky than the naysayers claim it to be.

    motion sickness

I have thought about that. Certainly it's hard to follow LP's of VR, but that's because naturally the screen moves when the player's head moves, so I can't say much about that.

  9. I really dont care about some random guy and his friend "Binky" behaving like kid because someone doesnt like what he like.

For the record, I wasn't making fun of you. I should have mentioned that when Helio claimed I was. I was simply making clickbait jokes, because clickbait is ridiculous. Sorry if it looked like it was directed at you.

Now before I get into trouble for perpetuating this silly argument, everyone scroll back up and read what Akinaro has to say about VR. Peace.

  10. I assume the Telltale Back To The Future.

    Lara Croft?

    Correct!

"[redacted], do you notice anything...unusual about Captain [redacted]?"

"Well I find the fact that he has a spring where his legs should be to be quite puzzling."

"Annd..why do you think that is..?"

"Perhaps an injury sustained while battling galactic evil?

"This isn't the real Captain [redacted] you numbskull! It's a robot!"

    "Oh."
