In my dream I created a music/stage production about the Tenth Doctor, using a storyline not used in the series, but finishing with his regeneration. I was somehow aware I was dreaming this and decided I would write this down with the idea of actually making it.

I woke up and realised I'd forget what happened, so I didn't write it down.

My left hand's not been feeling very good for a while, since trapping my fingers. The bruise on the underside of my ring finger is invisible, but it's noticeably aching when I put pressure on it, sometimes with bass playing now. Getting a concerned it may not be a bruise..

Also feeling some pain on the back of my hand when playing guitar...wondering whether I should get it checked out..

Aside from Agar.io, Timesplitters 2 emulated on my laptop. It feels weird not playing it through my PS2 and TV.

I've only played Burnout 3 and Revenge, and while I think they're great, my one single gripe about them were the load time ratio to race time. Just long enough and dull visually to reduce enjoyment.

Also, this. Right in every developer and publisher's face.

A growing fan. I've made the conscious decision to experience all of it, starting from the beginning with the Original Series. I plan to follow the franchise chronology, so will move to the animated series, TNG, Films, DS9, Voyager, Enterprise, and rewatch the Reboot films. It's going to take a long time, but totally worth it.

Borrowed a mate's PS3 controller (he has a PS4 now so doesn't really use it anymore) and got it working.

Now just need to get Fraps working (unless someone recommends something else) and should be able to get a short demo going. When I've got time..!

Because briefly mentioning them in FFA allows for quick changing of topic, whereas STD would open up a big can of worms. I'm not sure how wide the range of political standpoints are in this forum, but I've seen enough altercations to know that a civil discussion wouldn't last long.

If your laptop can't recognise its own power adapter, is it more likely to be a wear-and-tear issue, or would there be a software/driver issue

I've been to Singapore. Also Wales. I used to visit England, but I kind of live there now. I now visit Scotland more than live there :/ Living in England makes you realise how Scottish you are.

I can only speak for games and demos I have actually played, but:

Robot Wars: Arenas Of Destruction.

I bought this for £1.50 in CEX, as a massive fan of the TV show, and remember seeing it advertised in magazines, and thinking "Hell yeah that sounds awesome", back in the day.

To paraphrase Yahtzee, "Great idea; boring, glitchy, horribly designed game." Impossible to control, physics are fucked, camera angles suck, and probably reduces the life expectancy of the console. Christ, what was I thinking? Definitely one for the 'How not to make video games' educational collection.

If people want, I can record me singing it, but only if people want me to.

The mics and drums are just a little loud in that recording, (IMO) but otherwise quite good. Sounds similar musically to some of my all-time favorite stuff. I'm not particularly a fan of the lead singer's voice though, just feels like when you hear someone drone on. (though that may just be the recording)

Oh yeah, it's not studio quality. It's a couple of condensers on each side of the room (the camera decided to focus on the mic stand, even after I moved it out of shot, which is why it's blurred) going into my laptop. Kinda miffed they didn't pick up the electric guitar all that well, but eh, it's better than what the Camera picked up!

And yeah, I'm not all that sure about his vocals either, but it seems to do the job well enough to keep us getting gigs, so I can't really complain

I can now safely add 'can be killed' to the list of why I almost never play online games.

In fact, the general emphasis on online play these days is one reason why I play a lot of older games. Hell, I still use my PS2, which does multiplayer much better than the games I have in my Steam library.

My habit of not buying a game when it comes out makes DLC less of an issue, as I tend to be able to buy the game + DLC as a bundle. Micropayments, however, can fuck right off up the arsehole of whoever thought up the idea.

Also, Burnout > NFS. But that's just my opinion. I remember two mates of mine in school arguing over NFS and Juiced, and I was like "Pfft, Burnout every time".

It's just another case of money and profit getting in the way of art and creativity.
