I'm harbouring a feeling of dread as my band's guitarist is leaving. I can just see things turning into my old band: new member changes the sound and dynamic, band enters a kind of limbo as it can't make up its mind about how it wants to sound, and eventually falls apart.

Every band I play in gets a little more successful before imploding, and it's becoming a thoroughly depressing trend. Really hope this band is strong enough to survive this, but time will tell. Baw-ache.

Well it looks like our guitarist is about to leave the band, which sucks immensely as it's going to be tough to find someone who'll play the sort of stuff he plays in a band like ours. For those of you who've heard the first EP, we've changed a lot since shifting to a drumkit - we're louder, faster and more punky now. And to find a folkie who'd enjoy that environment, as opposed to a more general rock guitarist, is not common. He adds an interesting spice to the music.

So we might change gears slightly and get in a rock guitarist and a fiddle player, which would create a different feel, but could still potentially work with our songs.

This isn't really for public viewing, but

Finally got round to watching both videos. Quite good, though it was jumpcut city in part 1 which was almost distracting.

I am in agreement about his inability to play Half-Life now. I'm not sure I could replay it properly now without constantly thinking of FM.

It would probably be a very short episode, but how many clones of Pacman are there? Ross could do a comparison video, one what ones tried something different, what ones were blatant rip-offs/lacklustre etc. I remember a couple of shareware clones on old MacFormat CDs, one called PacMac Deluxe (which I enjoyed), and one called 'PacTheMan' (not so much).
