Freeman's Mind in HL2?

I'm sure this is a question that has been asked..... though I wasn't able to find the thread. Would Freeman's Mind ever come to Half-Life 2? Ross is nearly done HL1 in the first place, and honestly I think it would just be awesome to see. I understand if HL2 for Freeman's Mind happened it wouldn't be for quite some time. Thoughts?

This is a seven-year-old discussion and the answer is always the same: We'll have to wait and see.

 

I think it's pretty likely, though. I mean, Ross keeps mentioning the goal to finish HL1 by the end of this year. And he always stresses the 'finishing HL1' part. Like there's more to come. So, I dunno.
