Looks like someone's magnum opus. Untypically lengthy. While not ideal, attempts to shake usual "run around and click stuff" routine with refreshing gameplay elements are made. Lots of melodrama and "heroes are idiots" moments though.

"heroes are idiots"

I feel like that can often be used, for characters which also end up being barely likeable. Nothing pisses me off more than, a main character, who you are forced to play as, who keeps fucking up by himself. I would understand if I was the one to fuck up, but when it just happens in some cutscene, all the time, I just stop caring about everything.

Anyway I didn't play this game, I'm just making a general comment. Thank god most protagonists are not total fuck ups though. Well I mean... Max Payne 3 sorta is like that, and I hated it. Max in that game is also a bit of a douchey, I don't know why or how but, he kinda was to me.

I didn't mean to word it that way.

I meant - it's when player already understands everything, but heroes are acting clueless. This is actually imparting gameplay because you have to find "proof" of something you've already understood.

Yeah I get it, it's cool. Or maybe I didn't, uh I said that I'm ok if it's me messing up, but if it just happens because the game wills it, it's kinda lame.

Ok I edited my post, I didn't really mean to use the word "excuse" in the way I did. Anyway yeah generally to me, that's an excuse for myself, to just not like a character very much, if they are downright incompetent, no matter what I do. Sorry if it sounded confusing, I wasn't sure how to word it.
