I think this is a dead game. Shut down 14 February 2020 and this was the second time it shutdown too apparently. AI Overview "Guardians of Ember shut down due to the expiration of the publishing contract between Runewaker, the developer, and Gameforge, the publisher, without plans for renewal. The contract's end led to the closure of all official Gameforge servers and the deactivation of the payment service, preventing further purchase of in-game currency. There were no plans for character transfers or alternative official servers."

Horror is definitely the right genre for this game but it is not the graphics nor the monsters in this game that you will come to hate it's that unskippable title screen.

A glass house game, it looks great but you can't leave your glass house. The game is nice and short, the motion blur bugged me and it is a nice place to check out, I don't speak Russian? but it isn't that big a deal, you can beat the whole game without knowing any of it. As for the ending though there is a lot of text of walls that I can't read which I'm guessing would be explaining what the hell the message of this game was but without that I think the best way to describe this game is as a nice demo or proof of concept but not an actual, fully fleshed out game.
