Subjects of Interest to Ross

Anything related to soundtracks, especially game soundtracks. Links, recommendations, anything like that. I'm a big soundtrack fan and would like to get exposed to more music I like. Aspiring soundtrack composers can also show off their stuff here.

Discuss any obscure computer games here. Obscure doesn't necessarily mean indie games or old games, simply games that never got a lot of attention for whatever reason. There are some great games out there that may have been overlooked through the ages, alternately there are plenty of bad ones that deserve to remain obscure. As a PC gamer, I'm only interested in PC games for this section, sorry console people. I define PC as all the way back to the Commodore 64 up to present day.

I'm definitely a hardware tech guy, discuss anything related to any kind of computer hardware. CPUs, graphics cards, motherboard chipsets, mice, etc. Try to keep troubleshooting discussions to a minimum, there are better forums for that. I'm more interested in just general discussions / debates on the subject.

I am not an optimist about our global future. This section is devoted towards topics that I think have the potential to create serious problems for 1st-world countries in our lifetime, if not the decade. While I think peak oil is one of the largest problems we'll face in the near future, other examples are an economic crash due to massive debt, overpopulation, future food production, etc. However, if you're one of those people who thinks the world will end in 2012 because the Mayans said so, don't post here.
