Personally, I would wait on this game.
It's not just hard. It's unbalanced, and needs reworking.
Stomping bodies doesn't give you items, and your melee in general does almost nothing against enemies.
If you have a torch item in your storage container, the game thinks that means you already have one on your person, so it doesn't let you carry one on you as result.
Enemies will sometimes drop energy items in a big fight, when what I really need them to drop is ammo or health, or at least crafting items to make one on the spot.
Enemies take way more bullets than you can carry, yet you often end up in situations where you HAVE to fight to progress.
And to top it all off, this has the traditional UE5 traits of terrible performance.
