Thank You

I started watching Ross when I was nine. My first episode was probably the first one in like 2008 like it was for most people, but where it really started for me was on 10.5 the year after where the series seemed to end and I watched it start to finish for the first time, wondering if it was over - then I realized it was an April Fool's special. Episode 11 came out a few weeks later and I've watched since.

 

Five years later, I came to this community aboard the hype train of the first series ending and didn't think much of it. A bunch of combative millennials who had the same fights over and over for years at a time. Very boring. But around 2017, I was wanting to branch out a little more because my regular life was a bit less than stellar at that time, so I figured... why not this place? At least I could give it a try. So I started. Slowly.

 

As time went on, I made a friend. Riley. She liked me, decided to take a chance on me, brought me further into the community, gave me greater responsibility. I met Selous, Ken, CIA, Daniel Sangeo, Alyxx, and lots of other people. I was far from perfect but I did things that were worth doing, made friends who were worth having, and it was a nice thing to come home and spend a little time on it whenever I could.

 

For a while, I left. Life started moving again and so I moved on. But my time here meant something. Enough for me to be asked to return, enough to be given new opportunities to rekindle old friendships, build new ones. I was given trust and new responsibilities to help the community and in doing so, I got to meet a lot of wonderful folks from all over the world and this time, I even made friends who really stuck with me.

 

I wanted to say how grateful I was to this community on the chance that I never get another to make this testament, or at least before too much time has passed. I know I've had my share of conflicts and falling outs with folks around here over the years and I know I'm not always such a great person to be around. But I hold fond feelings for all of my old pals from around here regardless, and those who know me and have shared feelings with me will know that I mean what I say when I tell you that I'll be remembering you.
