That Story About Quaker Oats Turning The Cedar River Pink

So in Ross's follow-up video when he asked about crazy Iowa stories someone said that a Quaker Oats factory accidentally dumped pink punchberry flavoring into the Cedar River, turning it pink for miles.

 

Except I've been Googling like crazy trying to find proof it ever happened. I searched so fast and so many times that Google had to ask me if I was a robot.
