Only 40 years or so after its prime time but still better late than never:

Don't know though - is this signals a new start or is it just a wake ceremony for the things long gone? Hope it's the former...

:( None of my genres have any official awards.

By the way is this considered Prog Rock? I know it already starts with a melody and prog rock shouldn't, but the structure of the track changes over time especially at around 3 : 30 minutes.

Always found it difficult to categorise Russian rock-music. I personally do not consider NP prog-rock, rather punk with progressive elements.

NP had different styles during their time, I just thought this track in particular is prog-rock.

Anyway, isn't Punk Rock stuff like Sum 41, Sektor Gaza????

If so, I don't really see any similarity with this.

Actually I don't know much Prog Rock, only british bands such as Pink Floyd, it's sad because I see very much potential in prog rock. I can see in my mind very good variations of arrangements in the prog rock style, it's too bad people are not much interested in that. I just recently was composing Heavy Metal just to try the new guitar sampler and AMP i got on the Computer (yeah I know lol), anyway from my experience the guitar is basically the only instrument that sounds good by just playing and holding just one note due to so many variables there is to playing/tweaking the note..

OK, I looked around and it is called "post-punk". I don't know what's the difference - maybe there are fewer obscenities in "post-" ?

I like NP, whatever the style is called, maybe there is a bit of nostalgic longing for my student years in it but so what...

"Progressive" is something of a vague definition. I heard people calling Deep Purple and Uriah Heep progressive, for example. For me they are not, but it does not in anyway stop me from enjoying that music.

I share your regrets about the obscurity of prog rock acts. I guess it's a reminder that the majority of population has very simple taste (in music, but also in just about everything)...
