Newest musical discovery

I believe this could be beneficial to all those who listen to music, just post your newest discovery in music, whether it's a genre or a musician or a band or maybe a website, explain a bit of your background in music and then why you like your new discovery.

I don't have much to say about me, if you are interested I did listen to everything but since 2-3 years ago I only listen to underground House, Techno and Trance basically EDM 9The key word is underground but I don't care if it gets famous, if it started underground I will consider it)and am not willing to change, the music will probably keep me going till the end. I like it since it has a perfect balance of all four elements of music: Tone, Rhythm, Melody and Harmony and is all about music. The tracks are 5-15 minutes long and depending on genre have different stresses on music.

 

Notable musicians include, Sebastien Leger, Chris Lake, Reset Robot, Sven Vath... etc

 

Mostly the only website I use is http://www.Beatport.com, I never use Itunes.

I haven't discovered much lately, I have periods where I'm not that much into discovering music, I kinda want to hold on to my musical identity in a way.

 

Lately though I have begun collecting a-ha's records a lot, just falling in love with Morten Harket's wonderful voice. I think some of their best music was actually made after their initial success album.

 

Otherwise, the new Funker Vogt album was pretty awesome. Arising Hero might be one of the best industrial songs I've heard. It was awesome to get the limited edition of it too.

I just discovered this amazing artist: Trentemoller

He does deep, thick and thoughtful electronic music, mostly Techno, Tech-House and a bit Electro-House.

Oh and he's danish if anyone cares.

I have heard of him, mostly through the remix he did for Röyksopp's "What Else Is There". Talented lad. =)
