Mouse problem

Since recently i have been having some trouble with my mouse. It randomly double clicks whenever i perform a single click. This has been getting very annoying, i have looked around a bit and couldn't find a good solution. Has anyone else had this problem or does anyone know how to fix it?

Try cleaning the mouse. It could be just something creating more contact than necessary.

Have you leaked water on it? If yes, the contact has been messed up and electricity flows through a different path where the water made it and you need a new mouse. Otherwise open it and clean it as Alyxx said

I'm going to try to clean it, haven't done that in a while. I haven't leaked any liquid on it, thanks for the help anyhow.
