Hey there folks, I'm in the search for a new pair of ear buds that I can use for my iPod Touch 4th generation, and thought I might consult you guys.

I had two pairs before, and both are failing.

First

Sony MDREX10LP Earbud Headphones

Failure(s):

1. Audio is stronger in right ear than in left (this only happens with my iPod, they work fine on my PC)

Pro(s):

1. Sharp sound

2. Light Weight

3. Curved plug to avoid shorts

Next Pair

JVC Marshmallow Headphones with Microphone and Remote

Failure(s):

1. Remote to play/pause/skip died with in a couple months after purchase

2. Odd occurrence where if the end of the plug bent, the audio's volume would spike

3. Right bud shorts out frequently

Pro(s):

1. Deep sound

2. Good Bass

3. Nice fit

I am a frequent listener (pretty much daily) and listen to a wide variety of music (from classical to dubstep, and everything in between), so I need them to be versatile in audio reponse and able to be used frequently. My budget is around $50, and I can't go much higher than that.

Here are the ones I've found myself (EDIT, I've narrowed it down to two):

NXG NX-HTOBB Head Trip Overdrive Bass Earbuds, Black

MEElectronics Original M Series M31 In-Ear Headphones, Assorted Colors

So out of those, which would you recommend, or, if none look good, feel free to leave a recommendation of your own.

I have a pair of creative headphones, awesome sound, really good bass and works just as good as when they were new.

But since you already have options, I dont know if I can help you :)
