What bothers me about a few episodes of Freeman's Mind

I remember one time Freeman didn't even pick up some ammo for the Magnum, said it was the wrong type.

He comes out of one Air Vent, (where he sees the two "voodoo zombie scientists" again) there are two ammo boxes for the Shotgun that he HAS to pick up

and after he gets out of the vent, he never looks down until he's back in the vent
