Has a sort-of prequel Doom 2 mod.

Barebones in every way.

With this being based on the amazing Doom mod, you'd expect this to be good. Unfortunately, that's not the case. It's a really dull Killing Floor, with nothing that made the original so great (aside from some of the really cheap encounters, those can flip right off).

I have had this game for many years. i find its reliable if i want to jump into a simple doom2 mod style game. It is very bare bones but has a small rouge-like aspect. You can get many upgrades and advances to be  more effective, use less ammo, move faster, reload faster, get life back with melee... the list  goes on quite extensively. It is very simple not complex but can always be played on the fly and should provide that fun challenge if its what you are looking for.
