Ross’s Crazy Mouse Design

My mouse is starting to die on me and that made me frustrated trying to find a new one. I ended up making a graphic of a mouse I’m pretty sure no one besides me wants, but some of you might find some individual parts of it appealing. I wasted time making this, but it felt cathartic.

@Ross Scott get some guy with a 3D printer to get a mold of your hand, the mouse you want to purchase will probably never ever exist so you have better odds of someone else making a custom shell for u, and then you can just, take the guts from another mouse and slap them togheter

Jeff Dunham, the ventriloquist guy, had a behind-the-scenes video where he was showing how he made his puppets, and in one of the videos he demonstrates this device that scans 3d objects; he used it to scan his hand to make the hand for his puppet(s)

It's called photoscanning, and you actually don't need a special device for it anymore, just a camera and some software.

I gotta say guys, I think I have the ultimate setup with my mouse buttons on my G600. I can do *everything* lickety split. Again, Ross was anticipating that he didn't want buttons being hit by accident or a keypad, and that does not happen unless *I* hit the wrong button when I'm going for something, and I strongly urge him to reconsider. I have 6 of these g600 mouses, one for each computer I have, and it's a DREAM being about to use hotkeys with my thumb. I can surf the internet, manage a website, edit documents for a long time without having to touch the keyboard; the keyboard has been moved to my thumb on the mouse. Here are my updated screenshots of my layout.

Again, I've been using this mouse for about 12ish years now, and it is the ultimate mouse for me. I'm looking into getting some other sort of device for my left hand where I can type or map hotkeys for a game to it (logitech already makes one of these), and then I really will never touch the keyboard-proper during entire coding or gaming sessions. To solve the typing issue I'm going to look into what stenographers use as shortcuts.

Oh, I'm also using all three profiles on the mouse. The second profile contains hotkeys for The Witcher 3 currently, and the third profile contains hotkeys for roguelites' dashing and 'use' commands.

Ross, put in the discipline, quit living in squalor with that plebeian mouse and join the G600 master race today!!

ha ha that's quite interesting. Just change with new one. There are ample of items are available on Amazon and you just can get them at one click only. I am also using my G600 since six years and that is best of anything I have to say that. So you can also try it once.
