Getting back on topic, a better education system will make unskilled American(citizen) laborers far less of a demographic than they are now. The control valve for the menial labor pool should be the rate of immigration, which can be tightened or loosened depending on demand.

This actually sounds interesting for a change. I'm not sure about the exaggerated art style though. It reminds me of a civ game with it's scaled units and buildings, for a game like this I would actually want to see just how massive the Dyson Sphere is
