Freeman once said he didnt want to look gay for having his ear pierced like a pirate shortly after getting shot by the turret.....He should think they are all gay or stupid...but he wants to be one? ....im gonna go along with it

He said that he didn't want to look gay, but then again, not-gay sailors also have pierced ears...as do pirates, because they're sailors. And, just prior to the pirate episode, he mentions that he "should've been a pirate".
