I just wanted to suggest a new naming patter for the Freeman's Mind episodes.

Current: freeman_s_mind_episode_1

New: Freemans Mind - Ep 01 [484A6286]

The end bit inside the brackets is a crc32 checksum.

For those archiving the series I think it would be a really nice change.

I understand where you are coming from, but I think the functionality of such a change would be appreciated by very few people... Maybe Ross or some Accursed Farmer could post a Checksum file for the currently released episodes. That way, no name change is required.

I bring you mortal danger and cookies. Not necessarily in that order.

This would have an impact on subtitles too because subtitle files MUST have the same name as the video file that uses them.... I don't know how this would be managed...

Awesome signature J.C, that's what I use in other forums... Dammit!!

Yeah, it's awesome

I tend to change it regularly though (every couple of days or so) ... so you should use it here too.

CRCs can be useful, but in the actual filename...?

Every anime fansub group adds a crc32 checksum in there releases name.

Also subs don't need to be the same as the file, you'd just need to load the sub file in your player.
