This is why i still have my Windows XP hooked up for old games like Baldur's Gate and Planescape Torment. Last time i tried Torment on WIndows 8 i got a lightning-fast framerate of 13 frames per second. And more Deus Ex. whenever I play a game that isn't Deus Ex my first thought is "i should play Deus Ex."

RAGE let me down because it was fucking obsessed with its driving, and RAGE easily has some of the worst driving controls ever. Even though the shooting aspect is incredibly functional and could hold an entire game, instead of awful vehicular combat.

Try playing it on the 'realistic' difficulty setting then. One or two shots and you're dead, like anyone should be. i don't have nerves of steel man. Also, RAGE. hahahahahahahahahahahahahahha

Deus Ex. is it just me, or does everyone ditch the pacifist run prospect once they get the Dragon Tooth sword and realize they hold the power of a god in their hands????

I thought that was the black sheep of the Deus Ex series. At least, that's what all the 'cool kids' tell me. Deux Ex 2's big issue is that it's predecessor is a game of such massive depth that trying to recreate that amount of complexity is a real tough issue. If it was a stand-alone game it might have been looked upon more kindly, but due to it being a sequel to what is considered the holy grail of video games, and made smaller for xbox no less, it creates a pretty divisive game.

People are now congratulation Microsoft for doing what THEY SHOULD HAVE DONE IN THE FIRST PLACE. Are the people buying these things really fucking moronic sheep??? i like to think the consumer has SOME kind of self-respect. And during all of this, Microsoft is reminding me of those guys on forums who after making tremendous fools of themselves follow up with "Thanks for the good laughs everyone! I totally meant to do that." Then try to cover up their spree of idiocy.

this one for sure. freeman's mind has one of the few distinctions in the entire world of being a series that is consistently good with every episode (same with Civil Protection. So i just assume Ross is particularly skilled at making a quality product everytime.). so picking one is a monolithic task. that speech about wiping your ass after being told how to climb a ladder in episode 0....heck, all of episode 0.

I didn't like how linear Fallout 3 was. well, linear compared to Fallout 1 and 2. i felt like i was just following people around watching them advance the plot, and the fact that the majority of the game look place in the southeast side of D.C I felt like they weren't even trying with the main quest. also Devil May Cry 3 and 4 and goddamn they're cuh-ray-zee.

DmC Demo don't buy this game. no really, please don't. If you liked the old Devil May Cry games (and worth mentioning DMC3 is one of my all time favorites) then you should stay right the fuck away from this train wreck of a game. The main character is one of the most unlikeable protags ever, the story is fucking retarded (vergil shoots a pregnant women that's how we know he's evil!!!) and the gameplay is dumbed down considerably. basically it makes DMC2 look like an all around masterpiece

A friend gifted me Spec Ops: The Line and now it has shimmied its way onto my list. Goddamn that game has one motherfucker of a storyline.
