You can go much higher than 20,000 triangles, especially if you are using bodygroups to compile multiple reference .smds together. You probably would struggle to go over 60,000 but it is possible, there are a lot of models in Portal 2 that have even higher polycounts. My 1969 Dodge Charger model has a polycount of nearly 40,000 and I have no trouble compiling that. I also recently made new wheels for it using a highpoly version of the tire to make a normal map. If you want the model it's a part of my vehicle pack for Garry's mod, i'm also planning to make a replacement for the Jeep and Junker vehicle in the Half Life series. http://www.facepunch.com/threads/918163-Master-Chris-s-Vehicle-Pack That's a cool car, but I just have to say that there's something about it that doesn't look natural It's not only you, most race car companies have the same problem with the models. NFS I'm not even going into, as that series uses too much bloom and effects instead of realistic feel. The most natural models I've seen were in DTM Race Driver 3 so far. Do you know what I mean? -
offtopic: I'm sorry, there was a country like that once... they tried to be as poor as they can so that nobody attacked them. They were called Sparta... Ever heard of them? Problem is, I don't see them around anymore... That's weird that you're quoting me, 'cause your comment doesn't seem to have any relation to anything I said. Well, what did you mean by "Never give yourself power that you don't want enemies to have in a few years" because that was exactly the motto of Sparta. On topic though, I think it's alright to own a limit of 2-3 guns per person without registration because anything more than that would be very likely used in a crime or group offense. Oh, and I actually have a question, in the States of America, can you have a self-made or legitimate crossbow or bow and arrows, ninja stars without registration?? Does it depend on the state there?

Every first game I played I expected something shitty, in fact, when I played CS 1.3 I didn't really want to get into Half-life, I was busy with CS. Then I actually played it, the result was almost every factor in my life hehe.

Download is the future, it is cheaper, longer lasting and completely environmentally friendly. Even though I collected a lot of CD's/Dvd's at one time I know the future looks very dim for them. I have almost no DVD, CD disks left at home. They disappeared to me just like floppy disks, they had a good run but I knew in the end they would vanish. The only purpose for DVD's/Blu Ray Disks right now is for whenever you want to conveniently watch a movie on a tv since the usb method doesn't work for the DVD player. The only problem would be the security of the game but trust me, in about 10 years or so, Disks will be ancient. The Usb storage device will probably survive though, it has a faster file sharing speed, is very convenient, not too bad on the environment and long lasting but it is unlikely that games will be sold on it unless they make it very cheap.

Why would you think that????? No, it's more of a joke because Zeno was an ancient greek paradox master and philosopher (in other words his contributions were useless...) while Planck was a Nobel prize winner in quantum physics. If you know the two lives well and you love philosophy you will get it. The joke is on the "but not by much" Anyways, how much longer can we wait for this mystery episode.... Isn't it supposed to be already on youtube?

And I thought you are german or something... Arbeiter means worker in german and it's read like Arbiter in english.

Incidentally, your signature joke is one of the worst puns I've ever heard. And I've heard--and made--a lot of BAD puns. I am a bad pun master. And this joke shames me. Well maybe you don't know who those people are.... If you do, Can you imagine the sight though It's a philosophy joke by the way.

My name is really the result of a lack of a name. I do call myself DJ Quail in the music industry because my last name in Russian means "Quail". And by the way my real first name means "Grand Glory" in Ruthenian (Old mix of Russian/Belarussian/Ukrainian/Viking language) aka "Vyache slava" or Vyacheslav in the correct format.

Is that "Dead" Niezshe in your avatar ?? Cool shirt btw!

Banned for making me get my microscope only to realize it's broken.

It would be a total fail if it's not for Freeman's Mind.

That game you hate that everyone else loves.

Hmmm... World of Warcraft? Sims?. (Not that I hate, I don't like it, there is no game I hate that everyone loves.) -
Hidden Danger in our daily world

Thank you! NO Nuclear plant is built like Chernobyl anymore. -
A Makarov Pistol, a knife, that's about all you can have legally without documents in Ukraine

We're using Migs and Yaks, Sukhoi, Tupolevs, Antonovs (Where my dad used to work btw) here.... And Russia has a lot of money and invests a lot into aerodynamics... and they are our parteners in planes, nuclear technology... Plus we have a way of using cheaper materials for better quality (Like the AK wood) What costs a lot is the technology, not the actual plane in our case. The Mig-35 is 60 Million $ So, not really a concern to me. In fact, the new technology now is always our future product (We sell AK-47 while we use Ak-107 already), and we invest in the Euro, not the dollar so in my case I hope that the russian planes beat the american planes (No offense of course, it's just competition) EDIT: The Russian government is planning to merge the holding company Yakovlev with Mikoyan, Ilyushin, Irkut, Sukhoi and Tupolev as a new company named United Aircraft Building Corporation. That's going to be sick

Evolution vs. Creation being taught in schools
ProHypster replied to BTGBullseye's topic in Serious Topic Discussion
All of those 3-4 points behind me are unnecessary, stupid or abusive, just present the evidence that evolution uses to BTG and let him decide. If he questions, answer or point to a site. Present the fact that it's officially a scientific theory. Now let him decide, every man has the freedom for that. But your arguing went down very badly in quality. -

Actually Valve grew from 10 people to about 4-10 times the size I believe. Fun Fact: When GSC Game World finished Cossacks there were two people on the team!

Basically, I played Cs for 10 years... and well, I can tell you that Extremely repetitive game play and snipers are just beginners negatives. When you're a pro cs offers such a vast amount of strategy.. and sometimes you get crazy moments in that game that you remember for a loooong time..

Completely understandable Ross, Cool, I kind of made this topic in case you didn't know but yeah, stick with the good old half-life...
