So yeah, discuss the movie here.

 

I thought it was a pretty good flick. The acting was really good, it had a really serious tone to it, and the action scenes were very enjoyable. Sort of made me want them to make a shooter game version, hehe. Brilliant decision to put James Bond and Indiana Jones together again.

I personally give it a 100/10. It's my favourite movie so far.

 

Well, in all seriousness, the CGI was a bit on the shitty side, but I kinda liked it. The aliens looked like aliens and everything else looked like what it was supposed to be. The acting was actually pretty good in my opinion, and I was very engaged into the movie and its plot. Definitely one I'll be rewatching with friends.

This. I was really disappointed with it, especially the acting, which should be much better considering these were all great actors.

It was interesting. They handled some ideas well but the movie felt like it came up short in many departments. You can't really invest in it. And the action wasn't very good. Like it's been mentioned, the ending was pretty mediocre. I didn't really walk away from the movie with anything. Besides lost time. Unless that was the point? the movie is meant to be like an abduction experience? You go in expecting a decent plot and character development only to find yourself outside a theater with flashbacks of some sci-fi western you think you may have watched. The only thing you know for sure is that you're out $12 and your ass feels funny.

Well, I had pretty low expectations. I expected cowboys and aliens. Pretty much got what I expected.

 

What I liked about it was that it wasn't shot in 3D so it didn't look gimmicky like a lot of movies tend to lately.
