  1. Are you trying to miss the meaning of what I post? Yeah... that sounded weird to me too, I don't see hoy can one get from what you said to the any flood is biblical thing...
  2. Statistical anomaly. Firefly was a very good show and the movie was awesome. Mal:"Remember, if anything happens to me or you don't hear from me within the hour, you take this ship, you come and you rescue me." Zoe:"What? Risk my ship?" Mal:"I mean it!" Priceless.
  3. Thank you. I have a lot of fun making them I do have some lame drawings I made a couple of years ago... I see if I can find them.
  4. I first read, "Let's bring out the bear and snacks and the dancing girls in cages." and I though "What the hell kind of freak-ass party are you talking about"
  5. Right now, I'm listening to Carrie Fisher rant in "Wishful Drinking", as I do stuff on my crappy PC.
  6. I got this from Wikipedia: In Spain, Hispanic America and the Philippines, December 28 is a day for pranks, equivalent to April Fool's Day in many countries. Pranks are known as inocentadas and their victims are called inocentes, or alternatively, the pranksters are the "inocentes" and the victims should not be angry at them, since they could not have committed any sin.
  7. They can do that? What kind of suck-ass service do they provide? I bet their terms of usage read something like this "Ugh... stuff.... internet... ughh.... poop". Useless pricks. What do they have over there anyway, a couple of 286's linked via rs232 cables? It was a ransom payoff. You should have told them to stick their hosting service up the most painful body opening they could think of and twist it a couple of times for good measure.... PLEASE, set up a Pay Pal Account or something like that. This is all a money thing. We can help you. I wouldn't be mad if I got Rickrolled and the G-Man was dancing and singing in the video Ehm... can´t really help you there, all that keeps coming to mind are egg cardboard boxes and heavy curtains
  8. I've been to Warsaw and found it to be very nice, and cold (I went during winter). People seemed to be talking backwards or something though...
  9. We can always hope for cake, strippers and party balloons, champagne...
  10. Again, agreed. However, I've yet to find a reliable cat. That doesn't mean I would harm one, in fact, on more than one occasion I've returned stray cats to their owners in my neighborhood, but (and this is, as you point out, a gross generalization), I find them to be selfish and uncaring. Dogs, on the other hand, have been bred for thousands of generations to be "man's best friend". This is my third dog, and I've enjoyed thoroughly every single moment with all of them. I don't think we should continue this discussion here, though. I've been thinking of making a "Pets" thread. That would be a more appropriate forum.
  11. Agreed to disagree.
  12. No, I don't. They are unreliable animals. Dogs, on the other hand, are awesome. They give you love, support and loyalty, no matter what. Google "Greyfriars Bobby" or "Hachiko" for good examples. This is a picture of my labrador Rinky, when he was 40 days old. My friend... I completely agree with you in that humans need all this to function. We are organic machines. But to this, I can only say... so what? You need "hardware" (your body) to exist as an individual. It's just a physical mean. Your experiences, pain, happiness, companionship, love, are no less real because of it. They are real to you, and that's all that should matter.
  13. Oh, good. I though I was loosing it when I saw this here...
  14. Mhmm. Deja vu. Also, this damn "forums unavailable" message keep blocking. AARRGGGGHH!
  15. You look a bit like James Hetfield there, you know?
  16. There is a video. A touching tale about a zombie. And Pizza. And maybe, just maybe, cake.
  17. You moved to Poland? What a coincidence. Me too!! Also, bear in mind that not all countries have this day on April: we have it on December the 28th. If you did a prank post or video on that day, people would really freak out
  18. Stargate first. When they launched Prometheus, Earth's first heavy battle cruiser, I was in tears. Then... Star trek, Babylon 5, Firefly, Star Wars and Farscape.
  19. Magnets. You're both wrong. There was a miniature black hole bending the light. Same thing happened in episode 350 (or 351) of "The Simpsons"
  20. That's what she said. I did this on MS paint back in my RPG Maker XP days. NO, we're not starting this again. Damn you Bjossi... DAMN YOOOOOOUUUU Oh, yeah.... Bjossi explained this to me... you guys are talking about that "coitus" thing, aren't you Well, I'm not very good at drawing... I have some skill as an editor and I like to make animated gifs for my signature. I don't think this can be called art, but some of them look good. The credit for the images goes entirely to the real makers. Hit and Run English Guy 8-bits against Machinima.com 8-bits forever Accursed Farms Herd Desktop (click to enlarge) Burn Machinima.com!
  21. Mafia?... There is no mafia... * Makes a discrete telephone call, says "make sure he sleeps with the fishes tonight" * Well, as you said, a lot of us have posted our faces in this thread. You should start from the beginning, if you are really curious as to what do we look like. But, when you get to my picture, please be gentle. As I stated before, the hat was not mine... and I was in my happy place. I hate to hate. Also, if you hate conflict... well, brace yourself for the coming decades, kid... But this belongs in the Civilization Problems section. Sorry, I must say it: "The cake is a lie". Very well sir. This is a picture of me taken a little over one month ago, on the shores of Loch Ness. Freaking Nessie was nowhere to be found... and it was cold as hell. Also, as you can see, the hat situation has improved.
  22. The problem itself seems less frequent now... maybe we've lost so many users now the server load is usually low. What really bothers me is not knowing what is going on, why the modification to the password system has been delayed, why the problem seems less frequent, where in the world is Ross Scott, when is the Accursed Donation System going to be implemented, etc.
  23. That's because you are a mod and the system gives priority to your access. If you log out when there are about 10 or so users online and then browse the forums, you are likely to get the "Forums Unavailable" message.
  24. Hi there. Sooo.... Any news? My password is still working, so I suppose the change you talked about hasn't been implemented yet, right? I've been getting the Forums unavailable message less frequently lately though.
  25. Good. Cats are unreliable animals. Back on topic. RL Pictures. Here's a good one. That's me in 1998, in front of a couple of russian amphibious vehicles, in Antarctica. The next one is with some penguins. And walking around the base at 2 am.
