The fact that source machinima is so "easy" to make is great of course, but it also produces A LOT of VERY bad source videos that make no sense and just aren't funny. That kind of turns me off. I agree. But looking at Civil Protection... I don't think it would be as funny in any other engine or setting. I agree. But then again ross really puts lots of effort in to making these videos(i appreciate that). If you have games where you more or less HAVE to put effort in to making Machinima because it just isn't as easy, you will get more high quality Machinima.

To everyone their own, i am a complete neat freak when i comes to my files. I have a complete labyrinth of folders to keep everything in order.

Your desktop's tidyness should be an inspiration to all of us with untidy desktops (like myself). Is that a really heavily modified Windows 7 task bar at the bottom of your screen? It's barely recognisable but for the Windows logo. Thanks And no it is a program called "Rocketdock"(http://rocketdock.com/ its free) it works about the same as a MACOS dock would, but has more customization. Also another tip to keep your desktop tidy is to hide your icons. I have only like 3icons on my desktop anyway but you can right click the desktop>view>show desktop icons to hide ALL desktop icons. You can also you a program to do it faster.

I think snakker means speaking xD I was only a few years old when i moved from norway to germany and after a few years again i moved to the netherlands. I had to learn norwegian first, then german and then dutch. So i totally forgot how to speak the norwegian language, though i do recognize a word here and there.

Well i am half german half norwegian(such a beautiful place to grow up in ) But i currently live in Noord-Holland in The Netherlands.

I really listen to ANYTHING but mainstream(lady gaga, bieber, katy perry ect), rap(though i like eminem), screamo(the really extreme stuff when it really just is AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHh, i do like metal and heavy metal n stuff), and country. I don't really like "these kind of series". BUT i used to watch on piece and inuyasha when i was like 8or so. And i still really like it.

I do play it every now and then. But it becomes very repetitive in my opinion. Especially since EVERYONE only wants to pay de_dust2 ALL the time

What machinima do you like/watch the most. Source(half life, gmod, portal ect.)? Call of duty? Halo? Minecraft? Other? As weird as this may sound i personally love runescape machinima(saywut?). I don't know what it is, but somehow it is always funny. Example of funny RS machinima:

I have to say machinima does upload more and more "bad" videos lately. I am not subbed to them but i follow certain shows on machinima(All your history, freemans mind, inside gaming and a few others). I do think they are over saturating it with call of duty videos. But i also have to say i watch a lot of respawn videos, because sark, tebz, hutch and seananners are such a funny combo I disagree, ofcourse not all commentaries or commentators are good. But some are really, really good. For example Adam montoya(seananners) is a really inspiring person. He is very smart, naturally funny and loves gaming. And i absolutely love listening to him.

I have never tried it, and i probably never will. I am just not funny or original enough to make whole machinima. As for your machinima, whether you put the machinima up or or not. In the end it counts that you had fun MAKING it.

Pretty much any sentence that comes of this mans mouth is funny(in FM).

I know this isn't anything important. But i just like to say that when i normally use other forums i always click the big top banner to get back to the board index. But the one on this forum brings me back to the AF website and i keep accidentally clicking on it xD I don't know whether this will be changed or not, nor do i REALLY care. Just saying that it is a little annoying

Totally agree with you there. I didn't play much W@W either, that doesn't mean it is a bad game. But it just wasn't that big and new. I agree that the multiplayer was a joke(what bugged me the most about it is that IW didn't support it whatsoever after the release). The single player was very short and again unlike COD4, not as impressive. The story was okey-ish and the graphics where good. But i think the best thing in my opinion was the gameplay, i really have nothing to complain about it. Again totally agree.

It seems to be no ones taste right now. Lately everybody seems to want to play some kind of space, fantasy or medieval game. I would love to play some WW2 again Nazi Zombies is indeed ridiculously fun.

You forgot about the music and the atmosphere the game created! But yes, the sequel doesn't appear to be canceled. If we're lucky, we may hear more about it following the release of Battlefield 3. I thought that was a given Ye, i think so. Battlefield 3 is the BIG game right now, so they are going to be focusing on that a lot. But once the hype settles i am hoping to hear something

First off all some rules: 1. No trolling/hating/flaming. There is a difference between: i dislike these games because...... and go die, you cod fanboy 2. Keep it somewhat on topic(for example, no discussions about whether portal 2 is any good) Hey, I'd like to get out of the way that i am not a COD "Fanboy". I play and enjoy other games as well. It is quite obvious that Call of Duty is a HUGE franchise in gaming. But do you think it deserves all this attention(why do you think COD receives this much attention?), have you ever played any of the COD games and which ones do you think where good/bad and why?

Played 1&2. I really liked them, but then bungie had to go all greedy and make it xBox exclusive, and since i am a PC gamer the franchise ended at halo 2 for me.

I was very excited for this mod. But now i am really disappointed. And it is not because it is not out yet(i want them to take all the time they need), it is not because there is no ETA yet(i like the it's done when it's done method)....i am disappointed because they haven't given any update whatsoever, it has been over a year since they made a video or even a tweet, a simple: hello, we are still alive would have been enough. That's why i and many other people have given up on this mod.

I am excited for: Any valve game i love pretty much ALL of valves games Bioshock: infinite As a DIE HARD Bioshock fan i am a little skeptical about Infinite not being in rapture(not even in the same universe) 'n all. But i am still excited for it and can't wait to get it. Mirror's Edge 2 No matter what people say, i LOVED Mirror's Edge. I mean i can agree that it had it's flaws, but so does every other game. I loved the beautiful environments, the gameplay(even though the few moves got repetitive after a while), the story(even though it was VERY cliche) and the cutscenes(i really can't see why so many people hated it). And if you might not be following the mirrors edge news; No, it is not canceled. Dead Island The trailer was awesome, no doubt. Also from what I've read about it, it sounds very good. Also i like that it is a more serious zombie game rather then another "Funny" zombie game.

I doubt it will happen like you said(with freeman getting an portal gun n all). Though i am sure that there will some kind of connection between Portal 2/3 and Half life 2: Episode 3.
