Well I did have a nice post that was typed out that elaborated my year and how much fun and happiness this forum has brought to it, but it was eaten by gremlins. I'll just simplify: This year I graduated BCIT, started deepening my faith in Christ, learned of the existence of My Little Pony, and took an arrow to the shin and decided to walk that shit off like a boss. Also, at the last possible moment, I made excellent use of one of the about five or so permissions I give myself to use expletives. Shit was for emphasis, bitch.

I avoid romance involving fan-fictions in general unless they have a high rating, which then they have to pass the filter of my interests of characters, which are a limited variety. This narrows down the reams of fictions out there to probably enough to count with a few pairs of hands out of the thousands that exist.

I've taken up a new game toy-hobby. Lunar orbits in Kerbal Space Program. My record is an altitude of 48km (30 miles) from the surface. The current KSP world record is 5.1k (3.2 miles) The Pe and Ap stand for orbit Apos and Peripos aka apexes of highest altitude and lowest altitude points in the orbit. Doing a single engine burn at one of these points is the easiest way to do a very drastic change in their altitudes. If the Peripos is aligned with Earth, then a tiny burst from the main engine of a space craft could easily change the Apos from 50km to 5,000,000 and begin a Return-descent trajectory. That's why it took a massive rocket to get a Moon lander into space, and tiny rocket on the lander to get the craft home again.
