That isn't what generalizing is, in fact that's the complete OPPOSITE of what generalizing is because it's making it CLEAR that not everyone in a group follows a certain generalization. I agree that generalization has its purpose as long as you make an effort to be factual and statistical about it, but if you think there's anything factual or statistical about "you should be ashamed to associate with the lgbt community because of this", you aren't the freshest berry in the bunch.

I don't know what exactly you mean by serious or mature but WATCHING people play video games is usually less fun than playing them yourself the whole purpose of watching a let's play for entertainment is the people playing it, and if they're a boring humorless husk then you're just watching a walkthrough I don't know what kind of humor you appreciate but I'd recommend game grumps or vinesauce if it's nothing too highbrow
