Eesh, you're always gonna get some weird customers like that. But with the first scenario, did you ask the lady what the 'sweater' looked like exactly? Colours, material, patterning, deco, stuff like that. That can help avoid confusion and conflict. Also I'm not sure how your job exactly works but if people can just say; "Yeah that's my clothing", can't anyone do that and just steal something that's not theirs? XD

To all the bilingual+ peeps; How the heck do you learn another language? XD I've been wanting to learn Russian for ages now, I still want to. It's such a fascinating language and IMO it sounds beautiful and even cute at times. But I just have no idea how to learn another language. I've done some of the basics, you know, yes, no, that, this, mum, dad, sister, brother. But the thought of forming a complete sentence is just mind-blowing to me. So how did you guys learn English or another language? >.> It's so hard. And my memory is shit. XD

I'm half feeling unworthy and shit, but half excited because I really want to work and I want a new environment to call my 'second home' kinda thing. The unworthiness comes from, I'm sooo not qualified for anything. XD There's very little jobs I can apply for. But I was looking for jobs earlier and one job specified that "You must have the ability to meet minimum typing speed of 35 WPM while talking with customers". I laughed way too much at that, laughing with my WPM typing speed that is literally 3.5x faster than that. Reminded me of high-school where you had to have a minimum of like.. 25 WPM to pass the speed test and I'd always just ace the shit out of it. XD

You're pretty much using someone else's model for something you intend to send to Valve for marketing with I assume no permission from the original creator, which is not only scummy but also highly illegal and would never make it past workshop stages if anyone noticed. If you want to have any future or success in modeling or animation you really have to suck it up and learn. There are such things as Royalty Free models. Also there's such a thing as asking the owner, and giving the owner credit.

You don't have to type it out, just make it readable. Like, not too small, not too thin, not too thick. And fill up the entire bubble with the text instead of leaving gaps. That's my tip. OT: Finished this animation a little earlier on, it's for that MAP I'm taking part in. I'm quite satisfied with it. 6XPmVrjJaS0

Yyyyeps. I have a 5-6 second long snippet, I've somehow already finished the lineart of it all, so far it's 166 fucking layers. XD I still haven't found an animation program I like yet, so all my animating comes from me drawing frames in a drawing program, and hoping it turns out good because there is no 'play' option in a drawing program. lol It's so stupid but it works.

XD That is pretty strange. Hope you can have a banana split sometime then. OT: I got accepted into a MAP, it's any art/animation quality allowed, any character as long it's an OC. So OF COURSE I'm going to animate Lyle. XD Fucking hell, this will be awesome. Always wanted to do one of these. I just feel... excited. I want to finish my part, and then see how it all turns out. I can't waaaait!

Oh wow, starting school back up? I think that'd be very nice for you, be doing something else for a change, feel a bit more productive and given more opportunities in many different ways. I'm glad you're staying away from the weed though lol I don't have anything against people who do smoke weed, but at the end of the day, it costs so much and gives so little. IMO it's really not worth it. So I hope you keep up your stubbornness there to refuse it. XD With your friends though, yes, I totally agree. If a friend gets angry at you for something as little as that, if they cannot give you your own freedom and space, they are no friend. I've had plenty of experience with those types... :S Just try to not let their annoyances get to you. If they're mad over something so silly, it's their fault, not yours. Keep up the good work though! Working and what not... I can't really imagine how much of a relief that sum of money is.
