The UI here seems to changing on the fly. No no no, I don't want to be a schizophrenic! Nah we're just quoting Freeman's mind out the ass. Everything seems fine Apart from a few minor font glitches, and the /videos route not working for me. Says I don't have permission.

Here's a list of a few that came to mind and made a lasting impression on me: Penguin Drum: An Avant Garde series ripping off Pink Floyd The Wall and Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. Hella forced in most parts, but has some genuinely funny bits. So-so. Kaiji: Some of the best tension in any show, ever. Not so great the second time through though. Also, season two has a very solid opening but you can definitely feel the padding towards the end. Ghost in the Shell SAC: I'd reccomend this to anyone who enjoyed the first Deus Ex film. Unlike it's big movie counter part, this series focuses less on ham-fisted philosophy and more on the social consequences of living in a futuristic, hyper connected world, which is still largely believable. And government conspiracies. Legend of the Galactic Heroes: This is like the first of the Foundation novel was combined with War and Peace and Star Trek: The Next Generation. Definitely a slow burn, but I think it's worth it if you're into military and political science fiction... in space. But really, the selling point of this series is that almost non of the characters are sociopaths, despite the premise. Code Geass: This might be Japan's equivalent of the Sistine Chapel. It's not perfect, but the scope and depth of the of the story they pulled off is beyond remarkable. It's amazing, really, and it's the type of anime that makes you feel a deep inner shame for America every time an above-average Marvel flick comes out and gets lauded as some kind of corner stone of culture. Goes without saying, but I believe that Code Geass stands head-and-shoulders above any fantasy film series that Hollywood has produced in the past 30 years. Hunter X Hunter: Well, what can I say about this series, besides that it's the greatest thing I've ever watched/read/listened to, whatever. It doesn't excel in any particular category; others have better world-building, better character development, better soundtrack, more twists in the story (arguably ), etc. But what HxH does well is take the classic blue-print of the Hero's Journey and completely turn it on it's head, so much so that I had to re-evaluate my own personal set of morals and ethics by the end of it. No other work of fiction did that for me, and I'm the type of soulless bug-man that actually enjoyed slogging through all the "distinguished" novels in English class. But even putting all that shit aside, Hxh would still make this list due to its excellent subversion of the Shounen genre. Greatest of all time. Game of the Year.

Yeah, only 12 year old turbo autists and 4chan derivatives (like r/4chan) take shit like "kekistan" seriously. Most of the content on there these is days is discussions, varying forms of creative expression, and inside jokes. There is really nothing mythical about it.

Maybe Disney can quench the thirst of millions of Star Wars fans, but nothing combats thirst better than a refreshing ice cold Coca-Cola https://us.coca-cola.com

There sure are a lot of blasphemous heretics on this site /s I'd be s lot more excited about the new direction if it didn't shit on the foundations of the OT, e.g Luke. But even putting that aside, I don't think it's good enough to hold a candle to the star wars namesake. Much better than the prequels, but still disappointing.

It changed the ways movies were made forever, so I think it's a bit more than just passable. Yeah, 90% of the expanded universe is hot garbage, but there some stories that stand head and shoulders above the rest. Don't just think and accept that star wars is limited in its scope. Lucas and Disney have brainwashed everyone to think that way; they're lying to you. I mean look at KoTOR, it was and still is the best thing to happen outside the OT. Personally, I'd hate to see an ongoing Marvelization of Star Wars. It has/had the potential to be so much more than just dumb fun movies.

15 years ago, Drew Karpyshyn and the pre-EA writing staff Bioware proved, once and for all, that excellent Star Wars stories can exist outside the skywalker saga and the original trilogy. Ever since that magical moment, I wanted more, and I expected more following Disney's acquisition of the franchise. But what we got was passable, adequate, half-baked and half rehashed. And whether you agree with the new direction of the story or not, Kathleen Kennedy has taken some serious liberties with the established lore, choosing to bastardize and cannibalize the stories all we know and love instead of coming up with something truly original. So why go on like this? For the next 50 years Disney will overturn every nostalgic rock on planet Wookieepedia in the hopes of turning it into a C+/B- cashcow that everyone will see once, and then forget about 20 minutes later. If they are not gonna try, then why wait around for Star Wars to devolve into something akin to Zombie Simpsons. They've had a good run, let's have a graceful exit ( not like that will ever happen) "But what about the chance of a rebound?" It's possible, but imo, unlikely. I can only speculate what goes though the minds of sociopathic film industry executives, but I doubt that they will do something risky to hurt potential box office numbers. And as people continue to loose interest, the chance for another Empire Strikes watershed grows slimmer. So yeah. Do you think SW has run its course?

I got a terrible migraine and went to sleep it off in my car. We have a few of those old man Rockefeller types walking around, so I hope that one of them saw me and made a blanket judgment of our generation.

I'm in Munich. Does anyone know how to say "You take my credit card or Trump will make the EU great again" in German?

According to AF Twitter, Ross's neighbor invited an inhebriated hobo posing as a building inspector into his flat to asses the damage. He drilled through a pipe in the wall and flooded five stories.

>Continuing to dry clothes inside when there is already a moisture problem just blows my fricking mind. I'm sure it's a cultural thing, but still, this is a dire situation. I'd pitch in for a dehumidifier if the desire was expressed. Maybe it would blow the power budget though, don't know how that works in your locale. Seems like they don't have a balcony. Maybe modern commie block architecture has moved away from that classic visage.

I've seen them. I even killed a few during my service in ATO Killing people isn't exactly something to brag about.

While he did go hilariously overboard, my personal motto is to give someone online the benefit of the doubt. I would be mad too if I came to this site just to watch Game Dungeon and then witness my homeland get derrided in the comment section. His views misalign with the consensus here, and I think a flamewar is better than falt out calling someone a troll. But that's just me.

You can't "spell" sala without using the Cyrillic alphabet. Its all phonetics. Also you don't think ol' Porky isn't a greedy hohol? They started this conflict so they could have their turn at plundering the Ukraine's treasury. Could have just waited for elections, maybe they could've all put on fake braids like tymoshenko to win the zapadensi over along with fans of attack of the clones.
