Awesome toys and collections

Back in the 80's, when I was an innocent sniveling toddler, I received one of the most awesome toys ever made: a Transformer. Not that random 20-million-moving-parts crap we see these days. I'm talking about the real deal here, a true classic toy: Motormaster, leader of the Stunticons (five Decepticons that could combine into one mega robot, called Menasor). This was the beginning of my collection, which grew over the years.

Here you can see the 5 Stunticons: Motormaster, Dead End, Drag Strip, Wildrider y BreakDown (click to enlarge)

And their combined form, Menasor

Later on I got Cyclonus in TargetMaster mode, along with Nightstick

And a few Autobots: Swerve, Pipes, Wheelie y Beachcomber.

I also have a variety of random mecha.

And a few other Transformers (mainly from the "Armada" series)... but not really worthy of this particular post.

Do you have any awesome toys or collections? I have a set of really cool chessboards. I'll post them later.

I bring you mortal danger and cookies. Not necessarily in that order.

The only thing I collect are caps and empty cans from peanuts.

I'm collecting graphic novels by some artists I enjoy, and will probably need to get some cash flow going if I want to continue the interest.

So far I have Book 6 (Still wanted, books 1-5, 7 and 8) of a hardcover collection of all the Tintin books, The latter two thirds of Jeff Smith's Bone, Flight comics anthology by Kazu Kibuishi No. 1-6 and 8. I have both of the missle mouse books by Jake Parker and Smile by Raina Telgemeier, so I'm quite pleased with that.

This is a nice metric server. No imperial dimensions, please.

With two exceptions (Voyager #16, and the "Seven of Nine" book), I own a copy of every Star Trek novel ever written.

I have a collection of 53 different versions of Optimus Prime, from the original G1 all the way up to the latest Ultimate Optimus Prime from the "Dark of the Moon" toys.

(And a bunch of other Transformers of all eras.) My dream is to have a Fortress Maximus.

He just kept talking and talking in one long incredibly unbroken sentence moving from topic to topic so that no one had a chance to interrupt it was really quite hypnotic...

I have a rather large library of Playstation games, PS1 - PS3. This is just a rough estimation but I would say I have about 5 - 15 PS1 games, 45 - 50 PS2 games and 10 - 15 PS3 games.

I'll get the exact amount down and post it later.

I don't like writer's block, I prefer to call it writer's parry.

 NO... WAY... THAT'S JUST TOO COOL

My dream is to have a Fortress Maximus.

I once played with a first generation Metroplex. It was huge.

I have a Metroplex (well, an Encore Metroplex, from when they started re-making the old toys for collectors a few years back). He IS big, but Fort.Max. is around twice Metroplex's size. You can't find a Fort.Max. in decent condition for less than $1500. I've tried.

Bravo sir! You are my hero.:ugeek::mrgreen:

The only things I really collect are busted and broken mechanical and computer parts. I have a melted emissions pump from my Dad's F-350, a warped rotor from my car, several interesting small parts, a partially melted gear from an old diesel generator for a steel mill, and innumerable computer bits.

Oh, I also collect really cool and rare rocks that I find out in nature. Rare ones I have are an unopened geode (x-rayed to find out that was what it was), a rough diamond (uncut), a very small emerald embedded in a solid chunk of rose quartz, a gold nugget with silver laced throughout it, a piece of petrified wood, and a large chunk of crystalline pyrite. None are stored at my apartment, so don't bother breaking in to get it.

Don't insult me. I have trained professionals to do that.

Too late. I took everything, and replaced it all with exact replicas.

To saint Peter he will tell;

One more soldier reporting, sir.

I've served my time in Hell!

 So where'd you find them? Last time I saw them, they were still real, and still in the safe location...

Well I want to collect the old Digimon transforming action figures (mainly of season 1 and 2), but alas, I can't find any, even on Ebay. I used to find Agumon to Wargreymon, which I got, but it was broken (more so than I was told at the last second) and he didn't last long. After that, I can't find the transforming ones anymore, just plushies, and "build your own 'cause we're too lazy to do build them ourselves" models.
