Hey since we have people from all over here - I'm curious whether your pepsi and/or coke have "real sugar" (sugar-cane sugar)? I've heard that in the states they don't (they use corn syrup?) - what about other countries? And does anyone know the reasoning behind the differences?

I have never had either one.

Then what would you rather have?

No idea, they both seem to be quite similar to me.

Feel free to PM me about almost anything and I'll do my best to answer. :)

Unfortunately I can't choose either as a first choice. Anything from Boylan Bottling. About 95% of the food and drink I consume and natural/organic [trying not to sound preachy here, because people always jump to the conclusion I'm some sort of snob when I mention that stuff ]

But I do still drink it on occasion when that's all that's available; I'd have to say I prefer Coke; it's not as a sweet as Pepsi and has more of a bite.

Taste is taste, my friend. I'm not judging you for it.

I think only the states use corn syrup in their soda. Here we use cane sugar as far as I know.

It's more than just corn syrup, it high fructose, making it even sweeter than sugar. High Fructose Corn Syrup costs about half what sugar costs here, so that's the main reason they use it more.

Don't insult me. I have trained professionals to do that.

Any soda drink in glass bottles is awesome.

Looking at the poll I can feel my inner Pepsi fanboy blood boiling.

The bottle caps are what always interested me, as a child.

I loved the variety of designs in Coke-a-cola caps and bottles. I have a vintage japanese katakana-print coke bottle with the cap.

I prefer Coke. Pepsi's too sweet, and I feel that Coke, being the original, has something over Pepsi just because of that. Although that rule doesn't apply to much...

You can smell the difference between coke and pepsi. Try it sometime.

That's so true. But it's much easier to taste the difference.
