Any kid who grew up in the early 90's undoubtedly had some kind of relationship to this excellent 16 bit machine that some gamers call Nintendo's best console ever just because it had some of the most classic titles that still remain fun and playable to this day. It was the main competitor to Sega's MegaDrive/Genesis, launching a fierce console war between Sega and Nintendo.

What's your favourite games, and do you have any fun memories with this machine?

If you're too young to remember it, then let us know what you think of it. ;)

The Genesis was ok, but it still wasn't as good as the SNES IMO.

I haven't really played anything on the SNES, my friend however has spent about the last 5 years with nothing but an SNES emulator on his old 90's PC.

Not a bad way to spend 5 years if you have a decent set of games...

Not playing SNES before your 18th birthday should be a crime.

Super Mario World was the first video game that I ever actually played.

Which is a good thing.

This is a nice metric server. No imperial dimensions, please.

If I'm not mistaken a lot of them were Asian games without translations.

Sitting in the closet at present, next to my 2 non-functioning NESes. I remember loving Final Fight and Street Fighter 2.

I should correct myself, he had a SNES and a N64 emu on his PC for 3 years without anything else, and Megaman was the only game without a translation. IDK what other games he had though.

Don't really need translations if they're good games... Besides, you might start picking up some Japanese while playing them.

How to you pick up a language that is written in a different alphabet?

How do you learn any language when you know no languages?

Subconscious association through repetition; the only way to truly become fluent in any language.

Don't insult me. I have trained professionals to do that.
