It's one of the best horror games I've played, if not THE best. Incredibly atmospheric and lovecraftian, scared the hell out of me. You can get it from amazon, 15 USD.

I completely agree. That happened to me with Undying. Also, something I truly hate in games are dialogues and videos that cannot be skipped. Specially if they come before a hard part, where you're likely to die a few times. That annoys the crap out of me.

Don't worry, I never get offended in an rational discussion. I don't think the comparison with colonialism situations applies, simply because we are not talking about a significantly technologically advanced and militarily strong culture taking over another (which is the case with European colonization in America and Africa), but of a coalition of countries in a very homogeneous world. To accomplish that expansion in our time, you need a sizable army (if you don't believe me, just look at the US effort in Iraq and Afganistan: those are "saturation" wars, both in therms of money, equipment and troops). Since technology is widely available these days, it's not really a mayor differentiation point unless you have the manpower to back it up. You cannot occupy a country relying on drone planes alone. An the only threat big enough, would be nuclear weapons, which are quite unpractical because everyone has them right now (and if they don't, it's just because they have not tried hard enough. The technology is out there). I personally think Europe is headed for some very rough times. It is not viable to sustain the lifestyle Europeans are used to, with such massive government spending and rapidly diminishing (and very expensive) workforce. You are probably better off alone.

Huh? D&D reference. So, anybody here watch all those shows on SyFy like Ghost Hunter, Fact or Faked, Destination Truth, etc.? I kind of like them, even if they are complete bull most of the time. I've always been attracted to the unknown and would happily take place in a ghost hunting expedition. Like this summer: I was in Edinburgh taking a tour of one of their cemeteries (Greyfriars Kirkyard). The access to the Covenanters' Prison was closed by order of the city council, because of numerous attacks to the tourists by violent poltergeists (Google this, it's quite interesting). I stood there at the gate for a long time, took numerous pictures, even came back the next day to try and catch some paranormal activity... but nothing happened. With the exception of the photos I posted in the OP, I saw nothing strange in that city, said to be one of the most heavily hunted in Europe.

I really don't think they'll have enough young people for that. If you ask me, in 30 years the EU will be another failed hegemonic experiment in the pages of history.

I found this recommendation here. Force disk eject Press and hold down the Eject button on the front of the PS3 for about 10 seconds to force the system’s drive to eject. Useful for example if you try to launch a PS2 game and it freezes. You should be able to force eject the disc and then force shutdown the system.
