Mass hysteria has a tendency to grow into lots of dead people.

I suscribed to Machinima, but for some reason I don't get any mails from them... it's weird. I too was a bit shocked when I discovered they nuked their entire web and now rely solely on their youtube channels... I guess it's a way to reduce costo, while increasing advertising income.

I've watched several of these. I regret to say I've been unable to become interested in any, with the possible exception of Chell's Mind by CyhAnide (it's well done and scripted, shame it's not released more regularly). Now, if we talk about machinima videos in general, I think Ray Koefoed's stuff is pretty awesome. Xanatos also has good videos.

Yeah... I know... I just really liked that video. Plus, it was made a couple of years ago, that's an eternity in Internet Time. The new generations need to learn about the classics. I'll see if I can find something truly obscure.

What is this, some sort of Blair Witch thing? Do you recommend it?

There's allways a duck watching you... Anatidaephobia: The fear that somewhere, somehow, a duck is watching you. http://media.photobucket.com/image/anatidaephobia+/miharu365/anatidaephobia.png

How about the Boxxy "Love and Trolls" video. I was watching sxephil's channel a couple of years ago (it was the "iPhone 4G kills a man" episode), and every time he say "troll" they played a bit of the song. It was hilarious.

To this forum? I'm excited about the Forums too, but I think it's a different kind of "excited".

It's awesome. I particularly enjoyed the detailed description of the different manufacturing processes and projects the castaways undertook. Aslan!... I mean, Jesus! How could I have forgotten about that! Douglas Adams is the man. Luckily, I know were my towel is . I looked it up.That's the guy from Discworld! I had a friend in college who was a big fan and kept telling me to read it, but I never got around to it. I'll see what I can do. I'm in the process of finishing Deeper (I'm almost done, at the Pore). Got a bit sidetracked with "Fallen" and "Torment", by Lauren Kate. Me too, although not as much as when I was a teenager. I have about four years of Superman, starting at the fight with Doomsday (total badass). Several Hellblazer, Nathan Never and Dylan Dog compilations (those last two are italian comics), Watchmen and a very rare Transformers series from the mid-eighties.

This is just a minor thing, but when I went to the main site and triet to access the forums from the last post ("Forums launched yet again"), the forum landing page said "The requested topic does not exist.". Also, I noticed that the add comment link on this page http://www.accursedfarms.com/forums-launched-yet-again/, still points to the wordpress comment system. As I said, minor things. If you can look into it, great. If not, no one is going to day. Great job with the Forums

What is Your Favourite Freeman's Mind Quote/Episode/Moment
J.C. replied to Trickiert's topic in Freeman's Mind
So much to chose from... Well, excluding those already posted. Episode 1 Ah, I'm not the only one who's late.... SUCKEEEEEEEEEER! Episode 2 You're just looking busy. That's your whole job, isn't it. Looking busy. Scientist: "Freeman". Gordon: "What's up fool". Episode 3: Everything... this way. Awesome. Scientist: "Ah! It's good to see you". Gordon: "Yes, it IS good to see me". Let's have a look here... Oh yeah, that's busted. Oh my god, this is crazy in a box with a side order of fries. And that's just for the first three episodes. This series just cracks me up. -
That's what I keep telling myself

This is mine Click to enlarge. Yeah, I now. I have a crappy 2006 laptop. But since the last few years I've been mostly a Wii boy, I've never had a good excuse to buy a new machine. In fact, my next purchase is going to be and iPad 2... not a new PC. Damn Steve Jobs and his reality distortion field.

He he. I think they are still working on the forums, here's a weird thing that happened a few minutes ago I'd like to take this oportunity to test some features. Don't be alarmed if I sound a little crazy. Color, color, color, bold, italic, underline. Lists look like this One Two Three This code
There's always a duck watching you
looks like this URLs can be like this or like Embeded image with link, not uploading I think that's all. Let see how it looks.

I’m aware that reading actual books isn’t very fashionable these day, and you kids probably have your hands full with your Ataris, Nintendogs and Call of Halo, but I’m a bit of a bookworm and I’m always open for advice on what to read next. I would say Fantasy, Science Fiction, Mystery and Horror are my favorite genres. Here’s a list of writers and books I’ve liked, currently sitting on my bookcase. - J.R.R.Tolkien: LOTR, The Hobbit, The Silmarillion, Unfinished Tales etc. The man was awesome. - H.P. Lovecraft: At the Mountains of Madness, The Call of Cthulhu, the Randolph Carter stories, Herbert West: Reanimator, etc. He was also awesome. - C.S. Lewis: The Chronicles of Narnia - Robert E. Howard: Conan The barbarian books and short tales. - Clark Ashton Smith: Hyperborea and Zothique short tales. - Stephen King: IT, Carrie, The Stand, The Dead Zone, Cell... the man is a writing machine. - Arthur Conan Doyle: Sherlock Holmes books and short tales. I also like Professor Challenger, but I’ve only read “The Lost World”. - Robert A. Heinlein: Starship Troopers, The Puppet Masters. I’m curious about the Lazarus Long novels, I’ve never read any of those. - Larry Niven: the Ringworld saga. - Hermann Hesse: Demian, Steppenwolf. Crazy stuff. - Issac Asimov: some of the Foundation books, the I, Robot stories, - Frank Herbert: Dune saga. The first and fourth books are incredible. - Jules Verne: A Journey to the Center of the Earth, From the Earth to the Moon, The Mysterious Island, Michael Strogoff, Master of the World. - J. K. Rowling: yes, I’m a Harry Potter fan. - Stephenie Meyer: yes, I’m also a Twilight Saga and The Host fan. Deal with it. - Charlaine Harris: mostly Southern Vampire Mysteries, and a few other books. - Max Brooks: The Zombie Survival Guide and World War Z - J. L. Bourne: Day by Day Armageddon My “To read” pile is getting a bit tall (I’m somewhat of a compulsive buyer when it comes to books), with the “Hunger Games” trilogy by Suzanne Collins, “Full dark, no stars” and “Under the dome” by S. King, and “Torment” (second book in the Fallen Saga) by Lauren Kate. EDIT: I forgot to include Douglas Adams and his Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series. I deeply apologize for this.

So, have any of you heard of this series called Half Life?
J.C. replied to Descriptor's topic in Valve Games / Valve Stuff
o_o I think Portal 2 is somehow connected to HL 2 EP 3 / HL3... We'll see in a month Yeap, the main question is which month will that be... With our friends at Valve, you never know for sure. Also, I understand Portal 2 is set "hundreds" of years after the original, so a connection with the HL main storyline seems difficult, unless G-Man pulls another time-warp (a big one, this time). -
LASER! Caution LASER! Caution LASER! Caution LASER! What could it mean?

Clive Barker's Undying This game is one the most terrifying I've played. Taking place after the end of WWI, you play as Patrick Galloway, a former soldier who's coming to the aid of Jeremiah Covenant, one of his comrades from the war. Jeremiah lives in a huge mansion off the coast of Ireland and is the last reamining member of his family, his 2 brothers and 2 sisters having died as a result of an evil curse. It has incredible atmosphere, sound, graphics and gameplay and a disturbing lovecraftian story. After playing this game, you'll be an expert in running full speed backwards while firing and hacking (with a scythe).

I'm from Chile. It's a very loooooong and thin country. Life here is generally pretty nice (when we don't get monster 8.8 earthquakes or have miners trapped half a mile underground for 70 days). We get our fair share of UFO activity, specially in the northern regions... And of course, there's Easter Island which is pretty weird.

System Shock 2... that brings me back. Such a great game. A few days ago a dusted off an old copy of Call of cthulhu: Dark corners of the Earth. I'd forgotten how scary it was, specially when played in a dark room, with headphones on

Hey, I can reply! Nice. The forums look awesome. Congratulations

I was just listening to the sountrack for Classic Doom (a remake of the original Doom using the Doom 3 engine). E3M8 is particularly badass. You can listen to it here
