If you watch the Last Starfighter backwards, it's the story of a human intergalactic gunner who allows a madman to rise to power so he returns to Earth and moves into a trailer park.

Since I do the subtitling, I have all the videos on my computer. I stepped through the scene in question and ramped up the gamma. The model of this thing is flat black, but I think I can make it out. It looks like (screenshot in the spoilers) As for what it's supposed to be and what those slug-creatures are, or the relevance of the stalker, I really have no clue. If a new Civil Protection episode is released, Ross may not mention the Tunnel again and we'll be left to think, "What the fuck?!" Maybe Dave will mention it in passing and Mike will remind Dave that they agreed to never mention it again.

If you watch "Megamind" backwards, it is about an arch-villain who is the hero of a city who is taken down by another villain who eventually becomes mortal, so a superhero comes out of hiding to protect the city from this lunacy. Eventually, the dueling supers fly into space and bring two planets into existence from rubble and join with their respective families on the planets.

Phew. That took longer than I hoped. No matter. Subtitles are up.

It might be just me but I have fallen in love with the soundtrack for . Here is my favorite track (major spoiler alert): I wish the song was longer but it's probably the best thing I've heard in a video game soundtrack.

I played a mod of Wolfenstein 3D a long time ago called "Barneystein". All the Nazis were replaced by Beavis and Butthead and Hitler was replaced with Barney the Purple Dinosaur. It came with a text file with a horror story about Barney the Purple Dinosaur running a torture chamber in a castle. It was probably the oddest thing I've ever experienced.

I just finished watching the episode. My oh my, that was a good one. Different in tone from the other videos but by no means any less entertaining. I'm not much into vertical-shooters (I'm the kind that gets a free pass... for now. Ross will have to come back for me later) but it does look great. To show how very little I'm into vertical-shooters, I have played three vertical-shooters in my entire life: , , and (not sure if the last one counts as it alternates between vertical-scrolling and horizontal-scrolling). That's it. But, my God, that music. I must have the soundtrack now.

This is a 16+ minute long video. I will provide subtitles for it but it might be a little bit before I can get to it; my plate is extraordinarily full at the moment.
