All good questions that I'm sure someone else can probably answer. As to the picture, it wouldn't surprise me if the person sporting anarchy has no idea what it actually is... it'd equally surprise me if the person was an actual protestor and not just a spy disguised as a protestor (this actually happened in the infamous Battle for Seattle incidents).

Protip: remuxing the streams inside the MKV into an MP4/M4V file results in zero image loss ;D

I'll bring you up to speed. We're talking about ponies. I think it's a bit more than fan service. I can't exactly say why they're doing it (no one aside from the writers and other such staff really can), but from a fan perspective I'd almost all it a necessity. They can't simply drop the character after using her to help kick start the series, especially with some of the unresolved questions left over (such as, what role does she play in the kingdom, do people accept her after her time as Nightmare Moon, how has she transitioned back into life, et cetera...). Granted, being a show written for children, the writers could've easily ignored the loose ends, but maybe they're well aware of the actual audience of the show (I think Lauren Frost is and has mentioned it in interviews...). That's just my 2 cents.

Can we add some sort of shoutout thread to the IRC, this way when someone's in the IRC they can simply say "HEY GUYS IN 'ERE!" instead of posting hints in other threads? Maybe then IRC meet-ups and mash-ups could be a little more coordinated, too. Is there enough interest on the forum to make a board dedicated to movies and TV shows? We have them for multiple types of gaming and soundtracks, after all.

Granted, but when someone new comes in, someone old leaves. I wish there weren't so many BAD movies.
