  1. uh, im sorry- what part you dont understand? D: i meant in former eastern block nations we have more down-to-business school system and less fucking around than in most countries that werent under eastern block. hope i made clear
  2. well, in areas that were under communist rule for 50 or so years, school systems havs generally less fucking around to but it blunt than in areas that werent under communist rule.
  3. MORE VIDEOS! NOW! FREEMAN'S MIND! Just kidding seriously, take your time- quality>quantity (though you seem to have exceptional talent of making... silver videos at least with most being golden). Plus, as Pinkie Pie mentioned, we have gone much longer w.o new videos, so i'd like to think most of us are patient bunch, as i havent seen many regulars complaining about it (well, at least in way i started this post ) And hey- if we can wait Half-life 3 for... (uh, how long is it already?) then we can wait for FM episodes as long!
  4. First- i know many of you maybe have seen it, especially if you visit sites like 4chan or 9gag. But to who hasnt, heres hit video of last week (81 million views since publishing on 4th september), prank by polish guy SA Wardega YoB8t0B4jx4 but i also want to know your reactions too- what would you do if you see something like that running at you in dark? Seems like Poland is getting dangerous XD
  5. i meant the part that steam actually downloads- thats more of concern than unpacked and ready-to-play game
  6. uh, so this episode is one of mod?
  7. question- did you try steam version? if so, how big is download itself (not to be confused with unpacked game you have in end- around 50 gigs or so?) Also, small correction: Wolfenstein (2009) was actually tied to previous game (you had rather direct references to "RTCW". Not too big, but still. Truth be told, if we leave wolfenstein 3d out of main series, every wolfenstein game is linked to other- original stealth game was prior of you getting captured (from what i have heard), RTWC (and also 3d) continue after getting captured, wolfenstein 2009 will continue on story right after RTWC, when you find out of another powerful amulet that can give nazis huge advantage and wolf: the new order continues on that story- most likely because there was some sort of timeline-changing event in wolfenstein (i have idea what it was, but im not gonna spoil)
  8. Huh? What happened that I get a praise all the sudden? i respond with quote i heard: "Sometimes all that takes to change the world is one sentence- nay, a single word in right place at right time"
  9. tbh if its as hot as there as it is here (30C), then i wonder how you get any work done But a small tip to get rid of ninjas- all ninjas have weakness for free shurikens and anime. So set up a box with stick holding up lid and have few shurikens and laptop with anime inside and make sure you write "most honorable ninjas. Have token of respect in face of free shurikens and anime inside this magnificent box" on top of the box. They go in, lid slams shut and there you have it- your very own free pet ninja. after that you can decide if you keep them (they like sushi and other fish, but catfood is good enough for them), release them back into the wild or sell them- prices on ninja market are quite high
  10. Wow! You can use a car anytime you want. I use my customized one even in the later parts of the game, I just get bored with other "means of transportation". Driving is relaxing and you can listen to the radio So, that's not a problem for me. They just give you all these possibilities. Pretty huge level of car customization as well... i know you can use car anytime you want, but when you want speed, car is not the answer- thats what i meant.
  11. bought it from summer sale, been playing it a bit and while to some extent i feel need for earlier games to understand stuff, then for most part its quite fun. I like the map thats dotted with challenges (seriously, GTA should get this thing back (more challenges)- i feel there were more random quests to do in GTA 1 or 2 than in IV f.e), story is also nicely over the top (like "i dont wanna miss a thing" (which, btw, is one of my fav. songs) in scene on missle- reminded me of movie armageddon a bit). And this over-the-top stuff has been done well. One thing i do find annoying, though, is the fact that vehicles become basically useless very early in a game- i mean i do enjoy the way it becomes useless, but i do want to drive as well for a change, but as it is, its often better to... no spoiling, but those who played it know.
  12. 4th of july special episode.. for some reason reminds me bizarre movie-game i played based on movie "the independence day" (i believe game is of same name- its about when aliens attack earth, then some weird stuff happens and for no apparent reason all huge motherships explode)
  13. lol, that episode was full of crap But my wild guess on next episode "not of this world"- space quest?

    E3

Why not have topic where we can discuss this E3 and all following ones? This year's E3 has given me 2 games to collect money for- GTA 5 for PC and Assassin's Creed Unity (waited this one before, but this looks even better than expected)
  15. i couldnt agree with you more on 90-s fps shooters level design (gordion knot crap of a level designs) and also keyboard shooting. If i recall correctly, games like duke nukem 3d and blood (i remember blood being quite difficult for me, even with hacks on- dont judge me too harshly though as i was less than 10 when i played it), but definetly original shadow warrior allowed you to move view with mouse, but at time it was so painful to watch (as it distorted view so horribly) that you just had to abandon it in favour of keyboard aiming. Also at least as far as shadow warrior went, you had autoaiming in height-wise, which kinda meant you could shoot flying demon or smth right from above you while watching ahead of you
  16. one new game i want: Wolfenstein: the new order. That game looks kickass!
  17. You know, im really wondering how Ross will play out Ninliath first encounter, but first thing came into my mind was "thats the biggest monkey head i have ever seen"
  18. Makes me laugh to think of everyone in HL2 worshiping Freeman just because of something he said while on morphine. dont even get me started on same idea. There are just too many possible jokes about it that my "head is spinning with possibilities" (props to whoever can guess which part of FM i hinted). I mean for one- he always wanted to take over the world, acting as a god (vortigaunts), then being a hero (here on morphine and i would probably laugh my socks off if this would be hinted in HL2 episodes, should Ross decide to make one)...
  19. riiiiiiiiiiiiight, "friends"
  20. That was awesome i remember it took me most tries than any other part to get trough that chamber. But seriously, this episode is awesome- interesting change for usual bitter (and rightly so) Freeman. I like how you made it so that process of drugs is affecting Freeman slowly and then you give clear message- now hes really high. I also enjoyed how you were explaining one part and shotgun just moved like Freeman was gesturing something along these lines. Oh and also the part where you timed it nicely. Though let me guess- ending was instant buzz-killer?
  21. I love how they're getting the original actors back for Max Damage and Die Anna, they still look pretty good. i agree. i do have to ask though- is carmageddon (original one ofc) on your RGD list?
  22. Lately i've been getting into MW3 multiplayer. so far i only played sp part.
  23. Scorched earth policy IS basically the same. It means you destroy any resources enemy could use, including food, water, shelter, industry and most importantly- work force. i do understand it can be hard to believe that russian army was so innocent as their propaganda has been very effective (most of the world only knows of katyn as major crime by soviet union. truth is- there were hundreds of "katyn's"), but i have had chance to talk with people who have been trough that terror, who have seen the records. there are also tons of documentaries. 1941 "pravda" (means "truth" in russian, was official newspaper of ussr. reflected views of USSR leaders- thus if you wanted to survive you had to take it as absolute truth) wrote: "Peter the first (russian zar in times of Great Northern war, conquered Estonia and Latvia from Sweden) made huge mistake by not deporting all native people from coast of baltic sea". So yeah, i truly think that if person thinks that soviets killed less than nazis, then they are either victims of russian brainwash or just dont have enough info. Mostly second option though.
  24. out of vengeance... riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. ok, in eastern prussian case it was true, but what about Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland, who were occupied at start of the war? to whom it was nessesary to "revenge" there? Just a sidenote- its interesting to see that Russia used same scenario to occupy Crimea as it did with Estonia and Latvia in 1940: i.e just smoke and mirrors to make illegal action seem legal. But i also imagine you havent heard of soviet destruction battalions, that only task was to destroy everything and kill everyone they can when soviets retreated. in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania they did considerable damage, but still relatively little as german advance was quite swift+ many forest brothers guarded security, but i have heard that in several other places it did not go so well.
  25. I personally don't believe the Soviets killed more than the Nazis (Mao Zedong did, though) but, you can keep believing that, because we are all entitled to our own opinion. actually you are wrong here. You dont take into account "indirect" (in quote marks for a reason) victims. They also murdered A LOT of people from lands they occupied. For example, probably most notorious (still very little talked about) case was in eastern Prussia in 1944 where soviet troops literally raped and killed entire towns. We are entitled to our opinion, but we cant look over the facts.
