Greetings, subtitle fans! With the upcoming possible release of the new Freeman's Mind, I have decided that I would like to show a live stream of my creation of subtitles for Freeman's Mind. As such, I have created this thread to speak about this. As I do have to work (overtime for the next three weeks) and I do not know the upcoming release date of the next episode, I cannot give you a precise time when the streaming will begin but I can give you some idea. If the episode is released on a weekday, I can begin the streaming starting around 7PM Pacific time (US). If the episode is released on a weekend day, I can begin streaming starting around 5PM Pacific time (US). To access the stream, please go to: [stream account canceled] Please note: I will not begin streaming until after I view the episode in full first. I will begin streaming directly after that, though. I will turn off streaming after I upload the subtitle file to this forum. I predict that the streaming will take between 2-3 hours or thereabouts. I hope people can attend. Thanks!

If it's any time in the next three weeks, I will be working until 6:30 PM (Pacific US time) every weekday and until 4:30 PM every weekend day (unless something changes). On the day that the new episode is released, I should be able to start the streaming about a half hour after that. If it's released on a weekend day, I'll start the streaming at around 5pm (Pacific). If it's released on a weekday, it should start at around 7pm. Here is a thread with information about how to access the streaming.

As a person on the other end of the line, I hate it as well. I want to get to the subject at hand, not listen to monotonous spiel about the company. But it does help to make sure you know who you're talking to (just in case a followup needs to be done) and to make sure you're calling the right number. "Hi, this is ABC Services, my name is--" "Fuck, I wanted XYZ Services. Sorry, wrong number." Later "I talked with someone there and they said they could fix this." "Who did you talk to?" "Fuck if I know; they didn't tell me their name." I think that's the reason for the spiel. What I hate is that sometimes there's additions, like a mini-advertisement. - "You've reached ABC Services. My name is John Doe and today we're having a special buy one get one free sale on the XYZ package if you sign up for the DEF package which includes GHI, JKL and MNO. With this, you can save up to $150 a year. Would you like to sign up for the XYZ package today?" - "Uh, no, the cable ready light is blinking and I can't get online.
