Just wondering- Half-Life levels usually load in no time for me at 8G ram, but is it possible to make em run seamlessly by pumping them more ram than they really need?

I've noticed that the double-digit episodes that are the same number twice are really good episodes. We have 11,22,33,and the best part is, 44 is the fourth set! that's like double lucky So, does the manhole that freeman went in last episode go to the giant laser tripmine hell, or is that later?

Would it work for him to speak normally, then amp up the decibels in post for the points where he's supposed to be shouting? Or is that not worth it? Btw Ross, how do you get HL1 to look that good, even with Source? I have HL Source on my dual-booted macbook, and it cant get close to that, despite the 2 4G ram sticks inside this bitch.

Although honestly I'm not sure who's going to win the race to complete half-life 2 (The episodes are kinda overkill, and quite honestly, other than in episode 2, it was almost boring running around jelly caves- that creeped me out at the time.
